We just had a new roof installed by Fortress. Actually we reused most of the existing tiles so it was actually the roofing felt that was replaced. I think it's almost more difficult to replace the felt and not the tiles because such care has to be taken not to break the tiles in the removal process since they are going to be used again. The roofers were on the job every day at their start time & worked until 5:30 or sometimes 6:00. And after a long day on the roof they always cleaned up the yard or whatever needed cleaning up. They were very professional, conscientious men. Would recommend this company to anyone with roofing issues.

We hired Fortress Roofing to re-do our 30-year-old tile roof and a near-flat roof of a patio at our residence in Oak Park. Fortress had performed some some minor roof repairs for us in the past. First off, Ron, the owner, is extremely responsive. Unlike some of the other people we had contacted for an estimate, he responded to my request promptly, came out as promised and provided a reasonable written estimate with a detailed break-down of the included items. Further, throughout the roofing process, he continued to be responsive and promptly responded by e-mail, text or phone any questions that I had. The job was both started and completed timely and everything looks great. His crew consisted of his usual men and did not include random laborers off the street. The crew was very professional and considerate, showed up on time every single day and worked until about 6:00 p.m. They cleaned up after themselves daily and when the job was completed. There were no billing surprises at the end. We highly recommend Fortress Roofing.

I am a Realtor in the Conejo Valley and run across many roofing companies in the 22 years I have been buying and selling homes. Ron of Fortress Roofing is the most honest and knowledgeable of them all. He has been working on our own roofs since our move to the area in 1989.

After years of fighting a leaking roof we had Fortress Roofing come up and finally fix the problem. Ron's team was meticulous in correcting the issue, but said in five years we would need to replace the whole roof. We pushed it out to six years with the drought condition in Ojai, and finally made the call to replace the old roof with a new one. Ron sent the same team up for the new project, and everything ran like a well oiled machine!
