Ford Roofing was referred by my friend but I also got couple quotes from other companies. Before I decided to go into contract, Thomas patiently in answering all my questions in a timely manner and addressed my concerns. With his professionalism, good reputation and quality of work, we went with Ford Roofing. His team, Miguel is nice, on time, efficient, take good care of all the surrounding plants and clean up every day after work! I will definitely refer them to my friends if needed! I had my roof replaced.
I did what most people do and I got 3 different bids. Ford Roofing was by far reasonable. I loved the fact that TJ came out to the house and met with me while he examined my roof. In today's world a lot of roofing companies like to give you a bid virtually. That will never work with me because I like to meet the people I'm going to hire and feel a connection to someone I'm giving my business too.
I went with Ford Roofing because they are family owned business. Dad's done his due diligence and is getting close to retirement and now it's time for his son TJ to carry on with the family business.
From beginning to end the job was very well orchestrated with all the players.
The crew is very professional, friendly and the three days on the job they cleaned up beautifully, you'd would never know there was a mess from the days work. Big Plus! I wish TJ continued success and to make his pops very proud.

I unfortunately had to replace my entire roof shortly after buying my home from an investment company who did not correctly repair the roof as we agreed to in the contract. I had 7 different roofing companies come out for estimates. I was lucky when I discovered Ford Roofing while they were completing a project on a house in my neighborhood. Ford was not the lowest bid I received but they were very reasonably priced and used quality materials. I ultimately went with Ford roofing because they were professional, upfront about the costs/repairs needed and are a family- owned business. Due to the constant downpour in February and March we weren't able to get on the schedule immediately. However, Ford came out to cover the leaky roof with tarps to prevent further damage until they could complete the work.

The project took a total of three business days to complete and they did an excellent job. Ford even took photos and documented the incorrect repairs for me to use when I go after the seller for compensation. They were courteous, professional, always were in communication with me and cleaned up everything really well. We were extremely pleased with the entire team. Shout out to Juan for the extra help and clean up at the end of the job. Don't hesitate in hiring this wonderful father and son owned business.

For future reference: this is one of the rare times San Diego has seen hard rain for at least 3 successive days... starting Sun night.
On Monday night I noticed a little problem and called Tom.
On Tues morning, Tom and Team showed up and immediately corrected the issue.
For the rest of the rains on Tues and Wed: NO PROBLEM.

My point: Tom is one of those rare contractors who answers the phone after the invoice is paid and then answers the call of duty.

I give Ford Roofing and Repairs 5 stars. I received a quote from another company that seemed extremely high, and it was. I called Ford Roofing, which has been doing business in the area for decades, and they gave me a much lower quote, and finished their work quickly. A few days later, I noticed a leak in the garage during a rainstorm, something hard to detect without a lot of water hitting the roof. Ford Roofing came out the same day and fixed it quickly. Thank you for your assistance!

This is a great Family run company. I highly recommend that you get a roofing quote from them before you pick your contractor. They have a great crew that shows up on time, respects your property, and cleans up after themselves.
