We found a couple of leaks and had 4 bids on the repair of the roof. Fontaine was the only one that found the source of the leaks! Now with that I was worried about getting on the calendar before more rain that was coming. On the schedule a few days later, thank God. 1.5 days later we had a new roof & it rained 3 days later with no leaks. Great service & very professional. I will call them again for additional roofing needs

We had our original roof redone, including quite a bit of shiplap and fascia repairs, by Rod and his wonderful crew in April 2022. We even got to be away on vacation while they did all of the work and clean-up. We returned home to a brand new beautiful roof and peace of mind knowing that the work was thorough and high quality. Rod walked me through every step of the process and provided me detailed photos of all work done. As a board member of my HOA of many years, I was referred to Fontaine by several of my neighbors and property manager. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof without hesitation. I highly recommend Fontaine roofing. We had a ton of work that needed to be done including all our fascia trim, some of the eave shiplap and some wood siding when they were replacing my roof. My roof looks great and we are very happy with the quality of construction. We worked with Rod the superintendent and he has great customer service. The crew was very conscientious with the quality of their work and cleaning up the site everyday. We also had rain gutters installed by Jesse's Raingutters who Fontaine refers their customers to and they also did a great job. Fontaine's prices were good for the amount of work that needed to be done. Our property management company also uses them on all their projects and highly recommends them.

My community used Fontaine for weather proofing our roofs and I wish they hadn't. They apparently did an inspection as well. Clearly whomever did the inspection was incompetent - they documented damages to my neighbors roof and took a photo of my address and submitted it to my HOA as a result I got a violation and 30 day notice to fix it or hire Fontaine for $1800 to fix it. After analyzing photos of the damages I questions the damages and spent a stressed and sleepless night researching and taking photos to figure out the damages. I submitted proof to fight this. I'm just glad I didn't pay for an estimate to find it was my neighbors place bc I would have been extremely annoyed. Fontaine you really should double check your work or hire competent crew.

I highly recommend the Fontaine Weatherproofing Company. Our homeowner association recently used the Fontaine Company to install our slope roofing on all of our 21 buildings. Mr. Fontaine and Collin Ford are extremely professional. The technicians who installed the roofing were hard working and did their job well.
The project finished on time, and the Board of Directors were very pleased with the work and safety measures taken to complete each building.
We chose the Fontaine Company because of being highly rated and known to the area. The Fontaine Company gave the association the best price.

Excellent work and customer service.
I contacted Fontaine Weatherproofing in need of a reroof, their quote was reasonable compared to others and they took note of the urgency of the project and scheduled it quickly.
I am not sure if this is standard service for all roofing companies but they were very mindful of the debris. After they tore off the roof they cleaned up all debris from the perimeter of my house, including the patio and garage. I was very impressed.
During the project they noticed a significant amount of wood that needed to be replaced due to termite damage and they quickly gave us a reasonable quote and waited for our approval to proceed with replacing it. I really liked that they took a lot pictures of the before and after so we could see it from all angels.
Overall we are very happy with their services, would recommend to friends and family.

I called last Saturday and was assured that someone would be out today, Monday. I called and the woman (who was not helpful at all) said that I needed HOA approval which I do not. I contacted my HOA and the affirmed that I do not need a service request. I'm only wanting to fix a leak not replace the roof! She kept putting me on hold and told me that she talked to the president of the company and that I needed a service request. She was rude and would not even give me any help at all. Horrible experience

Jim Fontaine displayed his unprofessional demeanor during a phone conversation regarding an unscheduled visit by his employees, that should have been a back and forth discussion but turned into a one-sided domineering, overly aggressive display of agro/egocentric machismo, in which he displayed an exaggerated entitlement to dominate both myself (homeowner/customer) and the conversation to the point where only he was participating in the one-sided phone call, by his disrespectful tone, condescending manner, the use of vulgarity while yelling, the threatening, abusive and intimidating manner while trying to get his point across. His arrogance/impudence in stating to me that I should be grateful as the homeowner that he was doing work for free, which is inaccurate and an outright lie since my HOA pays for any and all work his company provides regardless. Hopefully, no other homeowners in Orange County, CA will be subjected to the discourteous behavior exhibited by this unprofessional business owner.
