I highly recommend the Fontaine Weatherproofing Company. Our homeowner association recently used the Fontaine Company to install our slope roofing on all of our 21 buildings. Mr. Fontaine and Collin Ford are extremely professional. The technicians who installed the roofing were hard working and did their job well.
The project finished on time, and the Board of Directors were very pleased with the work and safety measures taken to complete each building.
We chose the Fontaine Company because of being highly rated and known to the area. The Fontaine Company gave the association the best price.
Again, I highly recommend Fontaine Weatherproofing because of their professionalism and great work.

Excellent work and customer service.
I contacted Fontaine Weatherproofing in need of a reroof, their quote was reasonable compared to others and they took note of the urgency of the project and scheduled it quickly.
I am not sure if this is standard service for all roofing companies but they were very mindful of the debris. After they tore off the roof they cleaned up all debris from the perimeter of my house, including the patio and garage. I was very impressed.
During the project they noticed a significant amount of wood that needed to be replaced due to termite damage and they quickly gave us a reasonable quote and waited for our approval to proceed with replacing it. I really liked that they took a lot pictures of the before and after so we could see it from all angels.
Overall we are very happy with their services, would recommend to friends and family.

I called last Saturday and was assured that someone would be out today, Monday. I called and the woman (who was not helpful at all) said that I needed HOA approval which I do not. I contacted my HOA and the affirmed that I do not need a service request. I'm only wanting to fix a leak not replace the roof! She kept putting me on hold and told me that she talked to the president of the company and that I needed a service request. She was rude and would not even give me any help at all. Horrible experience

Jim Fontaine displayed his unprofessional demeanor during a phone conversation regarding an unscheduled visit by his employees, that should have been a back and forth discussion but turned into a one-sided domineering, overly aggressive display of agro/egocentric machismo, in which he displayed an exaggerated entitlement to dominate both myself (homeowner/customer) and the conversation to the point where only he was participating in the one-sided phone call, by his disrespectful tone, condescending manner, the use of vulgarity while yelling, the threatening, abusive and intimidating manner while trying to get his point across. His arrogance/impudence in stating to me that I should be grateful as the homeowner that he was doing work for free, which is inaccurate and an outright lie since my HOA pays for any and all work his company provides regardless. Hopefully, no other homeowners in Orange County, CA will be subjected to the discourteous behavior exhibited by this unprofessional business owner.

Our association was one of their first customers in the late 90's. During the rain storms we had in Jan 2019, they couldn't figure out were a leak was and so they conducted a water test and billed us $900 and then passed the job to another vendor (probably a friend's business since they were very busy handling other emergency calls from HOAs or homes that week) which billed the HOA another $3900 for a 7 tile sq footage job! Most respectable vendors apply the test to the job. Highly discouraging using this company if you live in a HOA and management company says they are a contractor they have used. And all their decent reviews are over 2-3 years ago, their current reviews are 1* which should tell you about the new business model of their business.

Fontaine Weatherproofing was contracted by my HOA to take care of our roof. Long story short, they did an inspection for me when the heavy rain started more than 6 weeks ago with multiple leaks around my townhouse and they haven't sent the proposal to my HOA for approval to fix my roof. I have made multiple phone calls to notify them about the urgency of the situation and all I got was their empty promises to get the proposal out to my HOA after weeks. Now I even got molds on the ceiling of my master bedroom where I sleep.

They came out on time and water proofed my roof via my HOA. Natalie has been very helpful and great to coordinate the project. The only issue is they dented my new ac unit. I understand accidents happen I just hope they do their part and fix the dent. I will update my review once they give me the status of the ac unit repair.

We were trying to sell our house and it had the original wood shake roof which was driving potential buyers away. We called Fontaine Weatherproofing and the time frame from getting them to see the house, provide an estimate, order materials and complete the installation was two weeks which included replacing a considerable amount of wood facia boards and sheathing due to termites. Fontaine even painted the new facia boards and eves to match. They were neat, professional and good to work with. Great work, done quickly for a very reasonable price. A+++++++

i ended up calling them back about the mess they left. Told me that's not how there company operates, they asked when the most convenient time was for so they come clean everything up and they where there and cleaned it up made me happy apologized made ma fell good so everyone deserves a 2nd chance i guess

They were done within three days and I am very happy with the results. After each day I found the yard to be clean and only found a couple of nails. The workers were on site and working by 7:15 each morning. Victor the on site supervisor was great and informed me of problems when they they discovered. Many of the neighbors complemented the work. Thanks so much, you guys were great.
