I chose to replace my flat roof with foam and having Harry from Foam Roof Solutions work with me through the process was amazing. I love the results and durability of this roof. They even helped dramatically improve drainage and eliminated some curbs allowing debris from nearby trees to be blown off by the wind instead of gathering and blocking water.

It's been a year since they did their installation and I was able to reach out and get some support regarding compatible sealant to replace sky lights on the roof. Their support of their work has been top notch.

We moved into our low-slope ""Eichler"" style house back in September of 2020. The sellers let us know the rolled paper roof would need to be re-done soon, and during a heatwave where our house got to 95 degrees, we realized that having no insulation or crawlspace was going to be rough.

We researched roofs styles, and learned that a spray foam roof would give us the insulation and water-tight requirements we needed.

I contact 3 companies, and all were great; responsive, answered questions, etc. All were within 5% in total price as well, and the way they would install the foam roof was fairly similar.

I ended up going with Foam Roof Solutions because Gus was the most responsive, along with answering all my questions. He put me in touch with a solar panel company (which we ultimately decided not to do, but it was still extremely helpful) and the thing that I remember most was Gus saying ""I want to do the roof right, the first time, so you are happy, we are happy, and you don't have to call us in the future"".

Gus had his main guy Alex come over a week later, Alex crawled up on the roof, looked at our roof, the sky lights, everything, and then we talked about how the roof installation would go, including asking me questions about concerns I had (drainage, we have our fiber internet cable on the roof and how they would handle that). He said they would be able to start in a month or so, so we paid the deposit and happily waited.

A week later, Gus said they had an opening to start, which we happily accepted. Alex and his team showed up promptly, told me that the weather was perfect over the next couple of days, and got cracking.

In 2.5 days, they got our roof completed. I really appreciated how thorough they were, making sure to cover outdoor furniture, and cleaning up.

The morning after the foam roof went on, I immediately could tell the difference. Typically our heater kicks on at 6am, to warm the house up to 65 degrees. That morning, didn't need to, the house was already at 65. As the day went on, it was a clear sunny day, and that usually means our house will get to 75+ degrees, regardless of the actual temperature outside. The house stayed right around 68-70 all day. Perfect.

Alex and his team were awesome. I would come outside every once in a while and ask how things were going, and they would tell me what they just did and what they were working on. They even removed the old DirectTV satellite that I totally forgot was on the corner of the roof, since we aren't using it anymore.

Alex said they'll stop by in a few months, take a look to make sure everything has settled properly, and Gus let me know to contact him ""anytime"" if there is a problem or something looks off.

Previously we had basically zero insulation on some of our rooms, so our AC couldn't keep up on hot days. Now our house stays nice and cool. We needed to replace our flat roof made of gravel and tar paper. I had heard that a foam roof could keep your house cooler, and with our Southern exposure to Sun, that sounded worth trying for. After researching what to look for in a provider, I contacted Foam Roofing Solutions based on their being a local and highly experienced company. Gus came out and spent a good hour with me explaining and showing me what they would do. We got on their schedule, and had to wait a bit because of the Covid-19 construction restrictions, but when they were able to work again, Alex came to make the final plans. The next day their team came to remove the gravel and other roofing materials, and the day after that, they did the foam. They were efficient and professional throughout. End result: our house is about 10 degrees cooler than it is outside.
