We had a similar bad experience with them just like Jeff M. and Kevin M reported in their reviews:

- We can confirm that for our reroofing they did not deliver what they promised: for example they promised us a metal flashing but stuffed a gap with foam instead...

- They refuse to take responsibility for anything; for example, our driveway got damaged and a drain pipe got squashed but never did anything about it despite us asking over and over... They also never provided their insurance information.

- From the moment you report a problem, water leaking (streaming actually) out of the bathroom ceiling in our case, they respond in a very rude way. Instead of saying ""sorry we'll fix it ASAP"", their reaction essentially was ""well, it's not much water leaking from your ceiling""

- They lied to us on several occasions; for example they said they had sent a roofer fix the leaking roof but we were home and knew nobody had come. We had to complain two more times before they actually sent someone over to look at the leaking roof.

I could go on like this for a while...

My experience with Florida State Roofing was excellent. They were prompt, efficient and very professional. When you call their office, Deana is extremely nice to work with and I felt like she treated me like a new friend. I had to make decisions from out of state and she was so helpful in coordinating the work. She even followed up with me to make I was satisfied. That's rare these days.

You will not be disappointed if you choose them as your roofing contractor.

I am a commercial general contractor in Florida and hired Florida State roofing to do my own personal house. My experience with Chuck and Simon was top notch and the quality of work that they did throughout the entire process was fantastic. They cleaned up each and every day always kept me posted on what was happening next and met each and every schedule deadline that they gave me. They have a hard-working staff and are the type of company that I would highly recommend.

My experience with them was so good that I recommended them to three of my personal friends in the area all of which had new roof put on within months of mine. As a contractor it's hard to find great companies in Florida that you can trust to do the work but I cannot say enough good things about the owner Chuck and Simon who took great care of me and my tile roof replacement.

I highly recommend Florida State Roofing as they are honest, competitively priced, and will go above and beyond to make sure we as customers are happy!!!

I bought a completely renovated home with a Florida State Roof. The home inspector pointed out that the flat part of the roof bowed and held water. I was assured that it would be fixed because I had a 5 year warranty. However, that was not the case. Not only has Florida State Roofing refused to fix the problem (they blamed it on the builder), but they were rude and angry at me when I stated they were not honoring their warranty and workmanship after many calls. I suggest you go elsewhere for roofing work... Caveat emptor

I contacted the office the staff was courteous and helpful, I received a proposal for a repair and reroof, I decided on the reroof, I would definitely recommend, the cost was fair the work was excellent, they went above and beyond to give me a great new roof!

Excellent service and quick response. We discovered some loose soffit areas on one of our rental properties as well as some minor roof concerns. These can lead to rodent issues so best to quickly fix. I called various roofing companies I have used in the past and was told it would be a week to get an estimate and then 1-2 weeks for repairs. Chuck at Florida State was a life saver. He sent a repair guy over the following day and all work was completed well, quickly, and for a very reasonable cost. Galdino and his helper were a pleasure to work with and he gave a number of useful pointers such as using squirrel guards to cover the vent protrusions to stop rodents eating the lead seal edges. In addition, Chuck gave excellent advice on combating pesky rodents! I will be using them in future for our roofing needs. Thanks a bunch!

We had atleast 5 quotes before choosing Florida State. They weren't the lowest, but definitely had a plan of action for our difficult flat PONDING Roofs..The outcome was great, better than expected, they used very nice materials, at not a bad price, as our old flat roofs were in VERY BAD SHAPE... We went ahead with shingles and solar fans as well, it really does keep the house a lot cooler. They communicated every change order in detail, if we wanted to No or Go, which was great. The guys were kind and respectful to the property.. The best part, it was all over in 3 days, demo to finish....WOW!!! AWESOME JOB GUYS!!!!
