J. S.I have called to get an estimate on my roof repair with Kevin, First appointment he did not make it on time and did not bother to call to cancel or reschedule until I called corporate and they re-scheduled him for the next wasting already my time. Next day he showed up checked on my roof that needed small repair and told me I will get an estimate in 24h, ""well that was 3 weeks ago"" I have called and followed up with their management about the estimate and they claimed that with the holiday he is running a little behind. So my advice if they could manage to send an estimate on time and waited on a customer to follow up with them, then I do think they are worthy of your time and trustworthy with their Job.
Save your safe the trouble.
Suzy Swiader-Bostic I don't know where to begin!! Florida Southern Roofing did my son's house and I can not say enough or thank them and All the sponsors and Volunteers that came out to do his roof, they are the most professional group of workers. If any one ever need's a roof or any work done do not hesitate to get in touch with them. I would recommend them to anyone.
I had a small leak stemming from a cracked tile in valley near rear of roof. Several roofers came out and gave me replacement quotes, all without even looking at the potential source. Robert Jennings, repair manager, came by my house despite being extremely busy that day. Long story short, he quickly found the source of the leak and immedialtely determined that my roof was sound for at least 6-7 more years and a repair was all I needed. In addition, to calm my concerns about damage until repair could be made, Robert made repair a priority and scheduled his team to start work within 24 hours. Outstanding.
To top it off, Florida Southern showed me a great deal of respect as a 100% disabled veteran and extended a VERY generous discount.
Honestly and integrity is worth it's weight in gold. Robert Jennings has both - a great ambassador for the company. I HIGHLY recommend Florida Southern based on their respect, wonderful customer service (Tiffany), and the highest honesty and integrity.
When it comes time for a new roof I know who I'll be calling!
The highest praise to Florida Southern Roofing. From the beginning of the process to the end, the crew was top-notch: efficient, HARD WORKING, courteous, very professional. Also, appreciated their clean-up. Thumbs up to Chad, sales representative; Chris, project manager; and fantastic crew: Arcenio, Esdras, Levi, Dioncio, Sseas. We got estimates from four companies, and we are happy we chose Florida Southern Roofing. We highly recommend them.
Ron M.Florida southern roofing is top notch! They installed our metal roof on our home in Sarasota.
They used high quality materials and state of the art form rolling machine. They kept on schedule and cleaned up all the debris. If you want a high quality roofer here you go. Thanks Brian!!
Amber S.Set up appointment to get estimate CHAD was there rep. He called to say was on his way that was great. Pulls up as I'm in driveway gets out as I'm standing in my driveway he begins to tell my elderly neighbor that she needs a new roof and begins to hassle her about it. After that he finally comes to talk to me. Now so you understand I'm a local utility's contractor. He begins his sale pitch and that's expected. I'm familiar with the lingo and advised him of that so we can get to the meat of the conversation but he instead chooses to trash talk other roofers in hope to promote his company.
At that point I stated I wasn't feeling it and gave his card back to him ...he got upset with that and stated same back to me.... LOL!
Childish!
You sell you business by promoting your company with the service and quality you provide not by trash talking others. I have had a few estimates before him that conducted themselves professionally and no one trashed talk any other company.
Good salesman can read there customer
They provided prompt quote. I signed the quote Aug 13. Someone was supposed to call to schedule work. After 3 weeks of waiting I called them. They said their equipment was stolen. No one called to let me know. Finally after several times prodding they scheduled me for 9/21. Then no show and no call. Terrible follow up. Would NOT recommend.
Cathy R.Florida Southern Roofing did a great job on my new flat tile roof! It was a big job and done during the ""wet"" season, but they kept us dry thoughout the process and the roof is beautiful! Mike Clark was our foreman and followed through on every promise...truly a job well done.

Melanie M.Pros: Metal roof looks pretty good. One area is uneven, as pointed out to us by the town inspector. Price was in-line.
Cons: Don't return calls (lost the cell phone), failed the inspection before making it right and insisted on collecting the final payment before the final inspection, had to argue to get the job done correctly, subcontractors threw materials off the roof that broke the pool pump (cost to repair was reimbursed to us). Charged $400 extra to retrofit the tile to metal, which was not part of the contract. Broke the fountain pump, which was also fixed promptly by them. Subcontractors did all the work and it took two weeks longer than anticipated.
Christopher S.Disappointed. Getting house ready for closing, and these roofers were advised of a few issues that needed to be addressed per Buyer's inspection. $6,300 later, repairs were made, but not to the leak that was the subject of the inspection. So, a month later, they are called again to fix the leak at issue, and that runs another $4,900. For second job, we were quoted two full days of work, for a 2-man job. They ended up finishing in 1 day. Did they adjust the bill? No. So the second job ended up costing about $220/man-hour for labor. This is awfully pricey work that should have been covered by the first job.
