If you are looking for a roofer, this company is not for you. I was told that they would be here in the morning. At 11:00 am I had to send a message to find out if they were still coming in the morning, to which they replied they would be here at 1pm. At 2:55pm I sent a message advising that apparently punctuality was not a priority for them. It amazes me that owners of companies think that we, as customers are on their time, especially knowing that Yelp exists. Learn how to run your company responsibly and with dignity. Customer service goes a long way, something you might want to consider taking a course on.

Great to deal with , Pedro came out was very professional, gave ma an estimate in a timely manner great price. They got the permits approved quickly and began work the following day . Work was completed quick roof looks great , there has been a few heavy downpours no leaks nice and dry , great job done in timely manner .

We hired Florida Roof Tech to do our roof which has yet to be finished. On the positive side we liked our salesman and the job started out looking like a quality job. The first warning flag is when they lied about how many panels were replaced. Because we heard horror stories about roofers inflating their price in this way (claiming they replaced more wood than they actually did) we sat outside and punted. At the end of the day, we confirmed our count (9) with the workers. When we got the bill it stayed that 25 were replaced. When we disputed this count, they back peddled and said they got our house mixed up with another. Next bill for fascia, we had the same problem. Finally, tile was delivered and they confirm the day they would come, they did not show. The following day, a crew from a different roofing company showed up to do the work. If I had wanted a subcontractor to do the work, I would not have hired Florida Roof Tech. Obviously, using subs comes w it's own issues for the home owner. If I could do it over again, I would not use Florida Roof Tech and I certainly do not recommend them. I wish I had done better research prior to signing the contract.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They will give you an estimate and then pretend the roof is worse than what it is and charge 10 thousand dollars or more and the receptionist is THE WORST!! She needs to take a class in learning how to communicate and explain herself better, she is RUDE, ANNOYING and talks to you UNPROFESSIONALLY!! She has issues and one of her workers had to call me to figure out how to complete something in their own system? USE A MORE PROFESSIONAL COMPANY... One that will give you a REAL quote and stick by that and one that will be Professional. You will find yourself arguing with the crazy lady and regretting ever using the company after you realized the reviews on this company were horrible.

Do not use these people!! We signed a contract, put money done & scheduled an appointment for them to come at 730am on Friday! My husband took the day off of work to be home. By 12 noon no one showed. After several calls, my husband finally got ahold of someone at the company by 2pm.. but only to find out no one was ever planning on coming cause they gave ""their crew that was supposed to do our roof a few days off and they could reschedule for possibly next week."" SERIOUSLY!? they were not even planning on call us! So my husband told them forget it & to return our deposit. They told him they would eventually send our money back.. So my husband called the salesman that came to our home, he apologized and said he would personally bring our money back yesterday... Well once again no call or no show! We needed up calling a different company on Friday, they gave us a quote same day, scheduled us for today & even showed up! All we want is our money back!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I dealt with Pete Pina, I feel that he should find another employer!! he is a nice person and was attentive!! they send in the best for the sale!! During the roof installation they made a mistake and installed white metal drip edge rather than brown. I pointed it out the owner tried to convince that it looked better and promised to paint the drip edge if I did not like it when it was completed. when I asked that he paint it he advised that he would give me a $500.00 credit for the mistake and not paint it. I preferred the factory paint rather than a painted metal edge. I lost for being the nice guy! I should of had him replace it at the time as it would of cost him more!! NOW BEWARE OF THE BIG PROBLEM!! The lumber bill was inaccurate and overbilled for wood. they tried to bill me for 25 sheets when my calculations are no more than maybe 15 sheets. at $70.00 per sheet they should of left the left over wood. but the lumber is a secret!! THIEVES!!! now I see the there are warranty issues, hopefully I don't have to use legal aid insurance when I have a problem due to warranty!! ownership and management are not trustworthy!! FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!! I am ordering flyers from Vista print to let the neighborhood know to beware of this company!!

If your you are considering this company- DON'T, DON'T, DON'T
I usually don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to WARN .
I'm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida area and although this company is in Hialeah, five years they were advertising in my city. In 2012, I was tired of repairing my roof , and hired them to re- roof my home. In 2015, I started to see leaks, and after numerous calls and threats they came out to do a so call ""under warranty repair"". In 2017, I have another leak, and I have called and spoke with someone (Peter) twice, who advised that a representative will get back to me. No return call calls, and all of a sudden no one answering the phone.
The repairs will cost me $1000-2500, with another company. I regret ever meeting Raul from Florida Roof tech.

I first contacted Florida Roof Tech Corp in March 2015 about a bubble in the roof they had done. The person I always spoke to was Nora. She always replied with the same response. First she would speak to her supervisor. Then I was told when they had someone in the area they would come by and repair it. It is now August 2015 and I am still waiting. Called this week and asked to speak to a supervisor (Nora was on vacation) Spoke to Suli? Zuli? She first said that they were working in the area and would call and someone would look at my roof. They did not call. I called back same day and she explained to me she really had no idea of what was happening with my roof problem and told me that when the current owner had bought the company they did not buy the liabilities. Thank you Florida Roof Tech for your unprofessional response. I have also researched you on the Better Business Bureau website. Needless to say when I need a new roof I know who not to call.

The worst, 2 years ago I did my whole new shingle roof, they offer a 10 year warranty, had a problem on my roof and they said they don't do that. So be careful this people will offer a warranty against material and workmanship and then SORRY WE DONT DO BLISTEERS!!!
The worst service ever, now I have to sue them, but sure I will write a review in any place I can , so No new people work with them. SCAMERS

Based on our personal experience, here are the following problems we have encountered :

1- Florida Roof Tech took 6 months (from July 2013 to December 2013) to do the work we hired them for and invented many lies each time to try to justify their delay.
2- After the job was finally finished, we had to fight to get the permit closed.
3- Florida Roof Tech did not do the entire job we hired them for. The company had not been able to install the gutters, even if the gutters were included in the contract.
4- Even if Florida Roof Tech had not been able to install any gutters at all, they refused to deduce the total amount of the gutters in their final invoice. The amount for gutters was 900 dollars, and Florida Roof Tech agreed to deduce only 600 dollars, not the entire amount.
5- Right when the rainy season started, we started to have leaks from the "" new "" roof, meaning that the job had not been done correctly and properly.
6- Florida Roof Tech took 2 weeks to finally contact us back regarding the leaks, and saying that firstly they will not come to fix the leaks, secondly that even if the company kept the same name, the first Florida Roof Tech Company went bankruptcy, and the "" new "" company does not give any roof warranty on the jobs done by the previous company.

Based on our own experience, we consider that :
1- Florida Roof Tech is not a trustable and valuable company.
2- The quality of work made by Florida Roof Tech is very poor.
3- Florida Roof Tech does not any Customer service.
4- Florida Roof Tech is not able to fix its own work done badly.

Do not make the mistake we did choosing this company to redo a roof. We do not recommend anybody to hire Florida Roof Tech. Hire a more serious and professional company to do the job correctly.
