The owner gave me an estimate on a Wednesday, then ghosted me when I asked to add or fix a couple of line items on it.

First he was going to Chicago and would get the new document to me the following Monday, then silence. I called and emailed him and his office and got no response. A couple of days later I called again and he actually answered, saying that he was now out of the country and would get the document to me the following Monday. I never heard from him again; I texted, but no answer.

My guess is that when I asked if his estimate would be valid in the future if I decoded to postpone the project, he decided that I wasn't worth his time. The problem with his conclusion (if that's what it was) is that it is incorrect; I just wanted the information.

Very unprofessional. Who's to say he won't disappear in the middle of a job?

Honestly, I can't say enough positive things about FQR. From the start, German was exceptionally informative and professional - and while I can almost promise their proposal won't be the cheapest, (i) you get what you pay for and (ii) they don't sub out the work - German himself will be involved in the project and their workers are employees. I'll let him explain why this is so important, but it obviously adds some cost. While we initially thought we wanted a metal roof, we ended up maintaining the ""feel"" of our home and opted for tiles. The roof came out incredible! The process was super efficient with very little wasted time (we had a permit within two weeks of signing the contract; tear-off days later; and once tiles were delivered it was another couple days until completion). Permits, inspections, improvements to code, etc. - they took care of it all. It's also worth noting that they took incredible precaution in protecting the property (covering pool, steps, patio, side lawns, etc. - they left the site clean after each and every day). The whole team (Stella, Josselyn, German) place a focus on customer service - I can't tell you how refreshing this is, espec in SoFL. Email updates, photos, calls - they are on top of everything. Highly, highly recommend... but really hope I don't see them anytime soon :)

Florida Quality Roofing did a silicone coating on our condominium association Roof. But not everything was explained fully about the cons
and i think everyone should know: when wet it slippery worst than ice,the 10 warranty comes with a string attached; our project cost $63,000.00 and Florida Quality Roofing never said to have the warranty we had to pay $2,000.00 to $2,500.00 a year in order to be eligible for the warranty,if you multiply by 10 years we would be paying $20,000.00 to $25,000.00 to have such warranty. After the hurricane last October 2017
we had some minor damage in our roof,so i called them and request to repair our roof at our coast, i spoke with Mr Duarte and he said he would get back to me soon to set up an appointment but never did, i guess he was upset that i did not take the warranty.So before committing to have silicone coat request to see the warranty and read it fully, and increase your liability insurance because is very danger.

Professional, transparent, patient, diligent, effective, efficient, flexible, thoughtful, honest. The FQR team is all of this and more. I don't think there is a better roofer in South Florida. The team completed the re-roof of my home a couple weeks ago (flat roof, north miami area). Super smooth process with no headaches or surprises. Miami needs more businesses like this.

Called today to get a quote as we have a house under contract that needs a new roof as per the inspection. Seller told us to choose a company and get a quote so they can know the exact cost and move forward with the company we choose on the repairs. This company refused to come give me an estimate since I did not own the house and told me the seller would have to call them directly. Pure laziness on their end because they think since I do not own the home yet the seller may not use them which is not the case. Found another company willing to do the minimal work of an estimate and will be moving forward with them on the roof repair.

My experience with Florida Quality Roofing was wonderful from beginning to end.

I went under contract with my Florida house while I was still living over 3,000 miles away. The inspection revealed the 36 year old roof was at end of life, and the seller wasn't going to touch it. No insurance company would insure me without a new roof, and the mortgage company would not finance me without insurance! Meanwhile, I was travelling across the country and had no cellphone for a period due to Note7 issues, sigh. Stella and her team worked with me through all this, and continued to simultaneously maintain contact and be patient while I closed on the house and submitted my tile selection to the Home Owner's Association (we needed to wait for them to meet, and wait two more weeks until they were able to get back to me with their approval).

Finally, work was able to begin! FQR met with me beforehand so I knew what to expect, and met with me after to wrap it all up. The crew was quick, courteous and tidy. My roof is beautiful...neighbors have been by to see who did such a quick and lovely job!

This company gave me 100% and gets an A+!

German and the FQR Team do it right and give the best customer experience possible. I would recommend them for any of your roofing needs.

We used this company for a complete roof replacement. I interviewed three family-type companies and this was the only one that seemed genuine. We had a few minor delays and what I assume to be a RARE unprofessional experience with one of the employees. HOWEVER, the roof turned out great and the quality of workmanship is far better then what I see on the houses around my neighborhood. I would recommend this company. Just as important as the workmanship is the trustworthiness of German. He does not upsale or pressure his clients. Thanks for everything!

I had never expected our roofing job to be so swift and neat. The crew worked like a swiss watch. The attention to detail extended from running magnets along the grass to pick up stray nails to diligently removing and replacing rotten wood, always checking with us to get approval for additional materials. This company personifies high quality work and professional attitude. The whole process was extremely efficient. Their communication was always clear and punctual. I highly recommend this company!!

We just had a large reproofing done on our home and the quality and professionalism of this group was first rate. From the pre-project meeting to the final permit inspections we were always kept in the loop. We had quite a bit of old and current termite activity and they were very agreeable to coordinating any work needed with our pest control company.
