I have the same issue as the other recent reviews. Roofer took my money and didn't pay the supplier now I have a lien against my house.

So this very personable guy Steve Nutt of Florida Coastal Roofing came highly recommended by many people in our community of Nettles Island at Jensen Beach. One local realtor stated he did over 50 roofs in the community with no problems and he was also on the ""approved list"" of the community.

I met with him, and we came to an agreement on pricing and a schedule that met my needs. Unfortunately, he took my $2,000 deposit and never returned another text, email, phone call, or any other type of communication. The first week I thought it was because of the multiple storms that went through the area, but then his office telephone mailbox was full for three weeks. I went to his address listed on his business card to discuss the matter with him and there was a postal service employee there, I asked if this was the address for the company and he told me no. But he did have two certified mail pieces addressed to this idiot which meant to me he was being served by someone for something.

I then went on the court records of ST Lucie County and he was being taken to court for lack of payment for his business address which is shown on this site. So, something happened to this guy, and he is no longer a roofer, but a scammer. He will take your deposit and then ghost you! Do not do business with him. I mentioned his name because he will probably pop up again under a different business name.

Do not trust his history! Trust his actions. Taking deposits and disappearing, not paying rent on his warehouse and refusing to be responsible for his actions.

I had a metal roof completed by Coastal Roofing Solutions 9/2024, everything went well until recently. I was just informed that they did not pay the subcontractor as they were suppose to in our contract. The subcontractor just put on lien on my house for over $14,650. We paid Coastal Roofing Solutions over $41,000, which included ,over $14,650 to the metal fabricator.
The roofing company cannot be reached now and the former employee's were not paid. They took deposits from unsuspecting clients as well for work they knew they were not going to complete.

I was highly recommended to this company. I actually had most of my metal roof installed over the 4th of July weekend. Yea, There were few hiccups and bumps in the road during the install but it finally did pass inspection. Next project was about to begin--installing solar panels and we hit a brick wall eight from the beginning. I have scratches all over my roof. I am receiving photos from the solar panel installers and scratches are every where. I can't believe it I contacted Alex, my salesman and he claims he was unaware of any scratches. How is that possible he had come oit a couple of times and had been up on the roof. He is trying to tell me the scratches are from the material being in transit. Absolutely not, my dad and I were there when the material was delivered and they were extremely careful the delivery and the cutting. There is no way a new metal roof should have these types of damages. we have been told it was on short notice and they weren't aware of it. I reached out to Cindy in the office, left messages and even sent an email and not a single phone call. in the meantime I am working on a time sensitive project. This is a newly installed metal roof with scratches all over it. Are they planning on painting my whole roof? That defeats the special paint coating I specifically paid extra to get. I paid for a new roof not a new painted roof.

Horrible company. They made an attempt to fix my roof following a leak. They placed a metal covering which did absolutely nothing. The leak reappeared a year later, rotting the wood underneath. They came back and said they would place a metal sheet to cover it. The employee was frankly talking out his behind. I never heard from them again. Shady company that don't provide quality service.

FCRS put a new roof on my house and they exceeded my expectations. They were timely and provided top quality material and labor.

Recently, due to an incredible amount of rain, I found a small leak. I called them on Monday, a representative was here on Tuesday to evaluate the problem, and a crew was on my roof by 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday and repaired the leak. I have never had service like that from a roofing contractor. It is nice to see an organization that stands behind their product.
