Wow, we hired Fitzhauer Construction after getting four estimates for a new roof. We own a historic home in Floral Park, North Santa Ana. Jay our representative from Fitzhauer was fantastic. He made sure all of his workers were there on time and cleaned up everyday. He kept in continuous contact with us during the project. He estimated 3.5 weeks and was done in that time. This was unbelievable to us because they installed cedar shingles on a steep elevation. The project included three structures, a 4,000 square foot home, a pool room and garage. We are 100% satisfied and would recommend Fitzhauer to everyone Thank you Jay

Let me start by saying I hate dealing with contractors and avoid it as much as possible but found myself looking a roof that needed replacing and an HVAC system that was so old we didn't use it. I contacted Neil and can honestly say it was a pleasant experience all around. He quickly replied to all emails and phone calls. Came out and did an inspection surprising me with the information that only part of the roof needed work and the other part only needed new ridge caps. The roof is older and an exact match wasn't possible but that was made clear from the beginning and the color they chose was really close and I actually like the slight contrast.
He was up front about all the issues with the HVAC and included me in all decisions including the addition of a whole house fan vs expensive upgrade on the AC unit. Everything was spelled out clearly in the contract. There was a never an issue with bait and switch.
The estimated time of completion of new roof on half the house, new AC/furnace, new duct work, whole house fan and insulation was Thursday to the next Tuesday and they actually finished on Monday. The whole experience was painless. I was waiting to write this hoping a day in sunny So Cal would be warm enough to use the AC but so far I can only say that the heater has been fantastic.

Last January we had a leak coming from an HVAC vent in our living room ceiling. I called Fitzhauer Construction and they were able to come out within a few hours. They stopped the leak and gave me a can of mold control spray to use in the vent that had been leaking just in case. Neil said that once the rain stopped and the weather warmed up that I could schedule a time for them to come back and re-seal the leak area while everything was dry. I had asked them to inspect the roof while they were up there fixing the leak, and to let me know if they saw any concerns. Some companies would probably tell me the roof is in bad shape and give a bid on expensive repairs or a new roof, but Fitzhauer said the roof is in pretty good shape overall. They recommended some very minor work for now, and suggested other work that we might eventually want to consider doing in the future as a preventative measure. I appreciated their honesty and that they didn't try to sell us a bunch of roof work that we don't actually need or scare us into worrying our roof was falling apart. When they did come back out to re-seal the leak area and do the minor work we had agreed to, they ended up doing some of the work that had been suggested for the future, but that we had not agreed to do yet. I spoke with Arren and he was so professional and helpful. He researched the problem and got back to me quickly, and said Fitzhauer took full responsibility for the miscommunication. We were able to negotiate a price that we felt was fair. Again, I appreciated the honesty. I understand that mistakes happen and what really impresses me is when a company takes ownership of it and makes it right.

After receiving 3 bids for replacing a patio roof, I contacted a FITZHAUER. *UPDATE* Fitzhauer painted the patio as we originally agreed upon and it looks GREAT! I'm glad to report they made it right.

My experience w this company is mixed. During the consultation, I pointed out the leaks on the patio and and asked if they could be painted. I was told ""normally we just prime but we can paint for you."" When the crew arrived I was told ""painting is $250."" Bait and switch much? There was NO mention of extra cost during the consultation. When the crew arrived I was told ""painting is $250.""

Later I asked again about paint and was told it would be included so I would be ""happy."" Well I'm Not - see photos of unpainted areas.

They did clean out the gutter as was agreed upon. I also asked that the patio shingles be matched w the house roof. They were not despite offering matching shingles on hand - I was told they were ""wrong.""

The patio roof itself looks as if it was done properly except for the color match. I was told ""oh a little time and the dirt will change the color darker and it will match."" I would Not engage their services again.

Amazing company to work with. I really hope that I won't be needing their services for awhile but if I do, I know Neil from Fitzhauer Construction and his team will be there to take excellent care of my needs. This is a company that 100% stands behind their work. Neil stayed in contact with me the entire time through the project so I am not in the dark. My condo's roof is pretty iffy... and Neil ended up taking care of our entire condo's roof making sure it's water tight. Middle of the night after the original leaks were already patched and taken care of, I hear a dripping sound that wakes me. I look up and there is a new leak. I text Neil, and first thing in the morning he calls me and send a team of 4 while its still raining to patch it to make sure there is no further damage to my home. This is a company that truly cares and work with you. What would have been a nightmare turned out to be just a minor annoyance thanks to these guys. If you have any issues at home, Neil at Fitzhauer should always be your first call!

I had Fitzhauer Construction apply Texcote to my home instead of regular paint. Texcote covers so much better and there's a 40 year warranty.
The project manager was Jesse Marquez and he did a great job and he even had to make another arrangement for another home project for me as with all the rain I needed my roof repaired.
The Fitzhauer painters for my Texcote project were Miguel and Leo. They were very pleasant and very hard working and did a Great Job.

Neil took great care of me before, during and even after the process. He answered all questions and was very helpful. Due to the rain we were having it took a few weeks to get the roof done but that wasn't their fault. The roofers that came out were very pleasant and respectful. The roof was completed and inspections passed in 4 days! They even helped with financing options. Very pleasant experience!!

They kept the work area clean and they took their time, not rushing !
I would highly recommend them for roof repair or replacement.

I had an issue with our commercial A/C unit on our roof so I called Fitzhauer Constrution to have them come out and diagnose the problem. Neil came out right away, diagnosed the problem properly, and ordered the parts to be installed the next morning. When morning came I got a nice text from Neil stating he would send a technician out with the part and get it fixed. Troy was the Tech that came out to install the new circuit board and replace the contractor, and did so in a short amount of time. Troy also made sure the wiring was replaced properly and everything was in good working order before he left. Troy even noticed we needed to have our filters replaced and took care of it for me.

Had a leak in our roof and they came out the following morning and fixed within a few hours and while it was raining. I was so thankful! We had very heavy rains the next 3 days and the patch worked. Had them come out today and repaper that area of the roof. It was done in just a few hours. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again and have recommended them to several people
