Jeremy and his team were great. We were under the impression that having skylights installed meant that we'd be living with tarps across the house for several days. Pleased to say that wasn't the case! The team cleaned up after themselves every night. They showed up on time, were professional and got the Job done. Couple of things to we learned while installing skylights (1) the work depends on the weather! and (2) with permits, CA law requires that you have functioning CO and smoke detectors in all bedrooms.

The price quoted was accurate too. Thanks again to Jeremy, Luis and Leo for keeping us updated on the progress and bringing light into our home.

Met with Miguel April 5th for a quote to repair a roof leak. Miguel showed up early which was fine with us, took a look at the roof and noted that he would share photos and a write up of the issue and how much it would cost to repair that same day. It's now April 25th and I have received nothing in writing. And when I reached back out Miguel told me I would need to pay for a report (anything that says what the issue is). Super weird - not into this at all.

If they want to give me a quote to repair a roof issue without putting in writing what the issue is, that's a red flag. And the lack of responsiveness - there are a million other roofers, why risk it?

Speed, quality and value is what First Tier Exterior is all about. They provided an estimate for replacement of a roof, within 24 hours of my first internet search. Rob, the manager took time to explain what will be done in detail. I've done 3 other estimates and no one else was close to their offer in value or quality. The permit was obtained and work scheduled and it took only a month from the first visit to work being completed. The crew worked incredibly hard and fast and listened to suggestions, comments, and input that I had. Rob was a perfectionist and held himself, as well as the crew, to extremely high standards. Indeed they are the first tier. I already recommended them to 2 of my friends who needed some work done. I just hope they'll be available next time I needed something done as I would hire them again in a blink. In my experience it is very rare to find such a gem of a construction contractor.

Perfect, no nonsense and very professional from Emmanuel and his team. I was out of town the whole process and communication was clear and responses were fast. Very happy with my new GAF roof and they sent me pics and videos of every step out of the process of removing the old roof, installing the plywood and underpayment, and the new roof. Will definitely choose First Tier for future roofing needs!

Recently completed a re-roofing on a residential in the San Leandro area. We are very pleased and satisfied with the excellent job done, and the pricing offered for the project was reasonable. It was very professional, and from the beginning, I met with Jeffrey, the Project Manager, who sat with me and went over how the entire process worked and showed what materials I wanted along with other options. From there, Luis, the Scheduling Coordinator, handled the scheduling and payment. Both regularly kept in quick touch and ensured the project went over smooth. Any issues we had over payments, quality concerns, and so on were promptly addressed, and the entire project went relatively quick with minimal disruptions.

Overall, I would highly recommend to others, which I have already done and will continue to do so, as this company offers a great price, is very professional, and will ensure high-quality workmanship and satisfaction will be had.

Needed part of my roof repaired due to water damage over the years and called up many companies for quotes. Eddie from First Tier Exterior was super chilled and upfront about what needed to be done. He was very nice and explained to me the entire process. What was needed, how the work will be done, and what they can provide as future weatherproofing for that side of the roof It was an easy decision to go with First Tier Exterior after talking with several contractors. The roof of our duplex rental was at least 20 years old and we have had several water damage issues and leaks so decided to replace it. We like to support family businesses and the estimate seemed reasonable. All communication - mostly with Luis and Manny, permit process and scheduling went very smoothly and reliably, despite ongoing rain and stormy weather. After work was finished, we noticed one side had a downspout and gutter installed around the front door and the other didn't. I sent an e-mail to Luis on Sunday asking for the missing pieces to be installed; he apologized for their mistake on Monday, and by Tuesday mid-day his crew had already fixed the issue - I was impressed. Would definitely recommend this company and hire again!

We hired First Tier Exterior for a leak we had in our roof and also to install attic vents. After talking to 4 different roofing companies, First Tier was hands down our top choice to work with. Miguel was thorough in his assessment of the issue and explanation of the project and options we had. Although we had to wait a few weeks to schedule the work (expected given the heavy rains in the area), the team came in and did a great job. Initially they installed the wrong color shingles, but Miguel ensured they would be coming back and replacing them the next day, in which they did. I'd hire First Tier again in a heartbeat -- the team did great quality work and was a pleasure to work with.
