I didn't realize how expensive a new roof can be. I shopped around and had several quotes which ranged widely - some were ridiculously high (almost 2x more). Bar explained and showed me the material he will be using which were very similar to the more expensive quotes. I was initially skeptical when he had to amend his original quote (change order) to up-charge for replacement and installation of new plywood on all roofing area. My house was built in the 60's and it still had its original wood shakes - which definitely needed to be scaped off and replaced.

Even with the added charge, the quote was lower than others. Bar was apologetic for the change order and he decided to install my rain gutters free of charge! Bar and his crew showed up within a week and completed the job in 3 days. His crew were very thorough and miticulous in their craft. Roof looks great and no more leaks anywhere! They also re-roofed my backyard patio (flat) roof as well which used to leak everytime it rained - no more leaks now! I'm very happy with their work and I would definitely recommend Bar to my friends and family.

I had an appointment scheduled for a roof inspection, and this company never showed up. I called the person who scheduled my appointment, and he said that he would call the roofer that was supposed to come and call me right back, but he never did. I finally called him back and he said that he wasn't able to reach the roofer to find out what happened. Very unprofessional and not a good sign if this company doesn't even show up for their appointments or call you back to tell you if they are still coming or not. I'm looking for a more professional, reliable roofing company.
