After my initial review was posted, Bar (managing partner) immediately reached out and scheduled a visit to assess the job site. He inspected the work and offered to remedy our experience. After another coat of sealant, a thorough clean up of the job site (including the roof tiles) and a water test to ensure sealant application was thorough, we left on excellent terms. The follow up and follow through as a result of our experience was fair, thoughtful and I am completely satisfied with the work. I would definitely recommend First Roofing to anyone else. This is my first time replacing a roof so I was nervous of what company to go with. I contacted few roofing companies, Bar was by far super professional and had available crew to start, he took care of everything for me and got the job done so quickly and efficiently. Their quote was extremely fair price. The workers were kind and courteous. They also picked up after themselves and made sure to not leave me extra work to clean up once they were done.

They overcharged me for shoddy work. My roof leaked (in two places) the very first time it rained after they did the work. When I called to complain they told me they don't offer a warranty on repairs. They also told my husband that since they sealed 10 areas and only one was leaking (the 2nd one started leaking shortly after we talked to them) that 90 percent wasn't bad. I called to ask to speak to the owner and I'm still waiting for a call back. I'm afraid I will be waiting a long time. Thankfully I found a roofer who does warranty his work to come and clean up their mess.

UPDATE: our roof is 21 years old (not 30) and has never had a roof leak (contrary to the roofer's reply). The roofers reply is just further example of saying whatever they have to in order to get jobs or defend shoddy work. We replaced our air ducts, which required a roofer to seal which is why we called them. It also took three quotes for them to finally cover everything we asked for at the very beginning of the process. Each quote was higher than the last, then the roofer showed up and quoted even higher. That should have been our big red flag. Bottom line, one month later on the first rain, two seals leaked causing damage to ceilings inside. Those seals had visible cracks on the roof where very little sealant was applied, while some ducts had it caked on. And they overcharged substantially for splattering liquid sealant everywhere, we could have just done ourselves, if had we known that's all they planned to do. Their quotes are extremely unclear, barely a few sentences. And they refused to do anything to repair the work, instead offering a discount on a whole new roof. Buyer beware, if you see the same red flags we saw at the onset, walk away.

Don't let positive Google reviews fool you. People with no construction or roofing experience believe they are getting quality contracted work.
The fact is quite the opposite.
They will promise and tell you what you want to hear. Instead of telling you the truth, that no one will be there tomorrow to work on your roof. 10% replacement of damaged roof planks or plywood in contract. My roof was resilient for 70 years old. They changed maybe 2% and none of the other areas I requested.
They will overcharge you permit fees because they don't have business license in your city. They use a third party service and you'll pay their fee as well.
They will Schedule inspections and not be there for the inspector.
Paid in full still waiting for unconditional release of lien on property.

I recently had First Roofing Contractor replace my roof. Jonathan inspected my roof and his communication was excellent and he was very patient about explaining everything to me. The crew was on time and did a wonderful job. And I was so happy with how they cleaned up after they had finished ... My yard was spotless !!
The quality of the roof is very good and should last 30 years. They also corrected and moved some gutters that were incorrectly installed, leaking, draining to the foundation and caused some rot.
I would definitely recommend First Roofing Contractor.

Johnathan is a professional, thoughtful person. I requested him to give me a straight view of what my roof is all about. There was a grim view of my roof but, he explained that thier are other avenues we can take. The workers arrived day on time. They worked diligently each day. They picked up the work site as they went and cleaned up afterwards. We are pleased with their work and our new roof.
