Lou S.Mark Epstein of 1st Class Home Improvements is extremely unprofessional and incompetent. I hired him to remodel my bathroom. This was a terrible mistake. It not only took him a very long time to complete the job at a substantial cost, but the tile floor in the shower developed a white scum in the grout called ""efflorescence.""
I called Mark Epstein that remodeled the bathroom and asked him if he could resolve the problem. He came by and attempted to fix the efflorescence with an acid he purchased from Lowes. It did not work. I have asked him many times to fix the problem he caused and now says it is not his problem.
He appears to be an incompetent contractor who seems to know very little about the details of the work his team performs; he acts like a whiney child who constantly complains. I should have never hired him for this job.
I then contacted Jason Roamer - Top Notch Tile. He was hired by Mark to install the tile. When I asked him to stop by and see if he could fix the problem, he would not. I tried contacting him several times to no avail and he finally returned my message with, it is not his responsibility and stated, ""Your talking out of your ass.""
Jason is another extremely unprofessional and incompetent contractor.
My recommendation is DO NOT hire either of these so-called contractors; you will be sorry.
