YELP you need to post the positive reviews!!!! Fields Roofing is an excellent company that has been in business many years and Mr Fields is back to work with excellent work ethics and products. After battling cancer for two years the company had a few set backs, but they are back up and running. In the 3 reviews ""not used"" there are two reviews that completely support this company. Please make the corrections immediately.

I was given this company for a barn roof we had to be fixed. They came under recommendation from a friend. After reading the review I wasn't sure, so I checked with the company and the State for license information and everything was good. He did our barn and fixed some other stuff for us at the house. No problems . Would definately call again if needed.

Don't hire this firm to do your roofing. A few months ago, I had Mr. Fields inspect my roof for a prospective lender who I was going to use for a re-fi. Fields inspected the roof and charged me $150. He had also replaced some loose and worn shingles a couple of years ago. After he inspected, I sent his signed inspection document to my lender. I received a call from my lender a few days later stating that Mr. Field's license had been suspended, for various reasons, and they would not allow the results of the inspection for that reason

I called Mr. Fields, but each time I called I was sent to voice mail. This went on for over a week and finally I just sent him a letter stating that I wanted a refund on my money. In the meantime, I hired a licensed roofer to do the inspection. After a few weeks I received a check from Fields for the full refund.

I would strongly advise that anyone entering into a roofing agreement with Fields Roofing to check the credentials of Mr. Fields first. Go to the Calif. State Licensing Board and check to make sure that he has a current active license. This goes for any roofing contractor as well.
