FHS Construction proved to be a great fit for my renovation project. With me living and working out of state, they adapted to my travel schedule, limited in-person availability and met my hard deadlines. They also provided affordable quality options with flexibility and reliability. Most importantly, they had fantastic communication throughout, collaborating with me on the myriad of details in a timely fashion both in person and from afar, primarily Elias who managed the (at times challenging) adventure with warmth and dependability. Ferdy is awesome. He's a great guy to work with and he has a team of people working with him who are great at what they do. We had our roof done, some new windows retrofitted and our three story house-on-the-side-of-a-hill repainted in 3 tones.

The short of it is that it looks amazing - literally strangers off the street comment on how great it looks. It might not seem like much to paint a house, but this particular house required 5 stories of scaffolding (on a 3 story house), extensive siding replacement, trim pieces, the aforementioned windows and even a deck railing and decorative overhang which he built to spec. without architectural drawings.

When problems arose, he was a pleasure to deal with; easy to get a hold of, eager to solve problems, and an all around nice guy. He's the kind of guy you'd be happy to have a beer with in one moment and then just as happily get down to brass tax with.

Here's the kicker - Our project was started and finished within the expected time frame at a budget that was surprise free, and a quality that we couldn't be happier with.

We did a total kitchen remodel with Ferdy and his team. We knocked out walls and ceiling, did custom cabinetry, custom countertops and tiled the floor. Working with them was a great experience. There were so many jobs to be done and we were so happy with the final result. They were easy to communicate with, always available and the whole crew is kind and professional. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be asking them to work with us on future projects.

Working with FHS Construction was one of the best decisions we made with our new home! To say we're happy is an understatement. We were given their contact through our agent who swore by their work on many of his own properties so we knew we were good hands. But seeing is definitely believing. This was also during Covid and they wore masks the whole time.

WHAT WE HAD FHS CONSTRUCTION DO:
- Replaced all florescent with recessed lighting
- Changed electrical panel
- Install bath surround, shower, and toilet
- Install kitchen backsplash and pendant lighting
- All kitchen electrical and plumbing
- All demolitions and cleanup included

This was our very first home renovation project but Ferdy, the owner, and Elias, the project manager, were really easy to talk to, listened to our needs and walked us through the entire process from beginning to end. Even when things needed to be changed, they were accommodating and did everything in a courteous and timely manner. We've heard of nightmares working with other contractors but we had NO ISSUES -- they came when they said and finished when they said. They even come back to fix items if we had any concerns. Even our questions were answered with a few texts. NO GHOSTING!

In terms of quality, it was TOP NOTCH. We had old florescent lights in the home and wanted to replace it all with recessed lighting. Everything came out seamless even with the texture and wall color that was already there. They don't cut corners or tried to hide anything. Everything feels like it had been done purposefully and nothing DIY about it at all! They tried to make sure everything was as economical as possible but made sure their workmanship was still A+. It was great also because other than specific items we wanted, the parts like the lights, paint, piping, wiring, switches etc. they include in the estimate so we never had to sweat the small stuff.

The biggest project for us was the kitchen and even though we had another company reface/build cabinets and install countertops, FHS made sure to point out things that they noticed so that the other company could fix. Now everything looks so incredible. Our neighbors are all jealous!

Bottom line, we were looking for QUALITY workmanship vs the cheapest. We knew that what they were going to do was exactly what we wanted with no issues in the future so we were happy to pay for QUALITY. The value shows with their work and their estimates are set in stone, no more no less.

When it comes to your home FHS Construction is trustworthy and worth every penny. Will definitely be working with them for as long we're in Los Angles

We had a wonderful experience working with FHS Construction. We had two of our bathrooms remodeled within about a month's time, right as we were in the process of moving. It was a stressful time for us and Ferdy, Elias and the whole team did an excellent job with communication, quality and timeliness. When I couldn't decide which color to paint the walls, Ferdy and Elias accompanied me to the Home Depot to help pick it out with me. Any questions or adjustments we had along the way they worked hard at being fair and meeting our requests. Will definitely use them again!
