Marisa B.Long overdue update as every time I look at my windows I get pissed off. A year and a half later after the installation was done, and about 5 to 6 different technicians visiting my house at different times, they finally determined that they made deep cuts into the stucco of my walls and the windows we're not sealed with the correct sealant. They finally fixed it, they are such a rip off. Many of our neighbors who used other companies had all of their windows and doors replaced for the price we paid for only half. And not to mention the stucco around our neighbors windows and doors are intact compared to all the patch work we have around ours. We considered giving FHIA a 2nd chance and using them again if they gave us a good price on the remaining 5 windows and one door and they quoted us another $20,000. They didn't even try to redeem themselves after the botched mess they created with our house. Stay away.
Debbie M.The salesperson was ok, we signed the contract, she did her job. The installation team was the best, very professional and clean - they get 5 stars. The follow up to get the permits closed has been a nightmare. I would give a 1 star review for the follow up team. It has been over 1 year, and still trying to get the permits closed. Every time I call, I feel like I am talking to someone who is working their first day with the company. For the 3rd time, inspections have been scheduled and I will take time off work again. Do yourself a favor, go with a smaller reliable company.
Very disappointed with FHIA. I bought impact windows from this company in 2021, after few months they installed all the windows but one that goes on the front of the house, the window was damaged, so the manager for Tampa, Florida area Joey told me that he was going to reorder the window along with a sash that came broken in my master bedroom and the window screens that also were missing. Now after almost a year, an installer came and happen that they ordered the wrong window (a model that opens up and down instead of the sliding window model that I had installed in all the house) also no screens and no replacement for the windows in my master bedroom, even though I texted the manager days before and he assured me that all was ready. Now, he was pushing me to accept the wrong window and said that there is no sliding window for that size which is only two inches wider than the rest. very unprofessional bosses here and unreliable. I do not recommend to do business with this company. The manager said I either take the window or leave me without front window. That is a joke!!
Very disappointed. For the amount of money we spent rplacing all our windoes and doors, finalizing the job has been a hassel. Inspection failed the first time, and once it was approved, the installers left without finishing because the siding was the wrong size. I had to chase them down to finally come back out to install it and it took 2 weeks after the install to do. It has been a week since then, and they are still not done with the front door. They also left without cleaning the windows and did not tell us of tiles they cracked during the installation. As of writing this, they are still not done, and the caulking has begun to seperate from the doors and windows. I get no response from the installer's supervisor (Renso). VERY DISAPPOINTED.
So I was looking to replace my windows in my home and I got an ad from Renewal by Anderson. I called and got a same day appointment which I thought was good. The sales Rep shows up looking like he rolled out of bed and was just using slang terms to address me. Not that I am above anyone but If i am about to spend 20+k I think a little professionalism is good then you can build rapport. We sat and discussed the quote and it was almost 30k over and then he applied some BS discount and it was 19k over a competitors quote. I asked if there where alternative options that where more cost effective and he goes into this whole deal about they dont sell crap product and they would be liable blah blah BS. Needless to say I wont be using them oh and then he felt it necessary to brag how big the company is and that they don't need my money.. Well then I guess we are in agreement you will not be getting it..
Leesa G.Very nice sales person who did her job well. Their materials are high quality and the process is well thought out. However, this comes at a premium, custom cost. $18,000 $20,000 is just a tremendous amount of money to replace a brand new tile shower with composite walls and a frameless door shower. Of course, they are a for profit business, but too much $$$$ for my needs.
Simon M.Doesn't seem like FHIA needs the business, even after I assured him that I am the only one that makes decisions on our home, David refused to give us an estimate because my wife won't be home and even if she was she doesn't speak English. We're talking about replacing existing windows not choosing a remodeling job for the kitchen or bathrooms. I found David to be extremely arrogant and unhelpful. I had better experiences with other companies with great reviews. If this is their attitude with a paying customer I can only imagine their attitude once they get your money. Surely we won't have FHIA replace our windows.
Thomad C.Once they have your money your yesterday's news. They will not respond to phone calls, do not hold up on their word. They are too big for their own good. Stay clear. Find a company that cares AFTER the sale!!!
I contracted for an impact sliding door in Aug 2021. It is now May 2022 and the project is not complete. They have been out 2 times and missing parts. They keep ordering parts and I keep waiting. In a few weeks it will be 9 months.
BAD company search YELP do your homework FIRST before you hire these jokers. They came to my home guessed a 60k re roof they would not put it in writing they expected me to just say yes to notes on a scratch pad..they did not go on the roof to inspect it. I had 3 other professional estimates for $30k to $36k...in writing!!!
