If you are looking to get the BEST impact doors and windows then look no further. FHIA has truly the best ones out there and comes with lifetime warranty.
The installation team Ernesto and Paublo did an Amazing job installing over 10 Windows and 3 Doors and also serviced them when something was not right and I can always count of them to make it right. But there is someone behind the stage that makes the magic happen and her name is Rosa (Service Manager), she gets the job done. Period. She is truly an amazing asset to the company.

Honestly, Look no further if you want the BEST and If you ever need help from Rosa or the Installation Guys Ernesto or Paublo well then you got even luckier.

Leaving second 1-star review since first one had been taking down by yelp and this company. Their sales practices are fishy, first they knock on your door pretending that they are doing work in the neighborhood and are reaching out for free estimates. I said ok at first because I didn't think of anything. Received a call later and was asked when to set up an appointment. Since I am married they told me that both of us have to be there. I thought that is weird and advised that my wife won't be available. They won't set up an appointment without your spouse most likely because they want to pressure you into the sale when onsite. I told them sorry but if that's the case we won't go any future. After reading other reviews I am happy it didn't go anywhere. I would bring my business somewhere else.

Was shopping at Sam's a couple of weekends ago and was approached by a woman asking me if I would like a free estimate to install hurricane windows in my home. I told her we already had them. She proceeded to ask about the roof--said they also install new roofs. We are actually looking to replace ours, so agreed to set up an appt for an estimate. She proceeded to tell me that it was mandatory my husband be home also for the 1.5 hour appt.---what?!? Red flag went up, but we continued to set the appt. for 6pm of the following Wednesday. Well 6pm came and went. Nobody showed up or called to cancel. I sent an email the following day to inform them nobody had honored the appt. A woman called me and wanted to answer questions, set up an appt for my inquiry on hurricane windows. I told her 3 times on the phone we were interested in a roof and that we had already had an appt but nobody showed up. Don't feel very confident in their abilities to even make simple appointments for an estimate. Would they actually be able to perform any sort of installation? I would steer clear of this company.

I had my consultation with associate Rafael Garay he was awesome. Gave me all the information I needed about the windows and what I can expect during the installation. He was very helpful to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. He didn't push me to make a rushed decision he permitted me and my husband to make our decisions. He was very helpful too about my concerns with the finance requirements. Looking forward to having the windows installed in couple of weeks.

They were to come and give an estimate on a new roof. Called 15 minutes before appt to say our roof was to steep to give an estimate. 2 other companies seemed to be able to do it!!! Sams Club and BJs get rid of these guys!!!!

It was an amazing experience from start to finish- FHIA is a little pricier than other companies but the quality of the product and the service was worth every penny. Their rep came to our home at our convenience and did an entire presentation of the various types of impact windows and doors which no other company had done - hence we were able to make an informed decision with respect to choosing the right impact window and doors for our home as we came to realize they are not all created equal. Makz was our sales rep he was wonderful and Johnny was our project manager equally as wonderful. My project was completed in less than 90 days ( from start to finish) the workmen were very neat and clean. I am extremely pleased with their work and the finished look is just beautiful. I will definitely use them again when I am ready to upgrade the top level of the house.

These people are great fast efficient, they aren't the cheapest, but when it's your home why would you want the cheapest? They have taken care of all the permits and everything. I had 25 windows and a door replaced and it went great.

ATTENTION: Florida home improvement & Dividend

Post construction with Florida home improvement, I have numerous complaints. I spoke directly with Beth from home improvement to fix the problem. I even scheduled multiple appointments for the month of February and March. The last appointment was for 3/21/2019 with the contractor Jose to come look at the unfinished work for evaluation and he never followed up. Jose whose phone number is (954) 649-5348. He continues to schedule appointments with me and never shows up. Furthermore, no one has reached out to me to fix this problem or have another contractor follow up with my complaints. The construction was supposedly completed at the end of January and it is now April 8, 2019 and this problem is still not resolved. The doorway structure has multiple structural defects. I have attached pictures.

I originally spoke with Devon Hampton Senior design partner Lic: cgc061890/Lic:ccc1330461 he promised me a finished product within 24hrs, I feel as though I have been baited and my concerns are not being met. I contacted Florida home improvement within a few days of the door being installed with a complaint of the door being unable to lock. This was supposed to be a great experience instead It has been a huge headache. Furthermore I feel as if I was not only taken advantage of but also baited. My first interaction with Florida Home Improvement was at BJ'S in Tampa Florida where I was promised great service and work for a decent price but also a $500.00 gift card which I received neither. I was also promised $500.00 credit towards my loan that was NEVER applied.

Devin Hampton was the sales person that came to my home and took the card promising me my promotions. When I asked him why he was taking the promotional card he stated he needed to attach it to ""my file."" When the work started and I spoke to a woman named Donna at the Florida Home Improvement office and I asked her about the promotion she says she has zero knowledge of the promotion and stated that Devon will contact me. Devon never contacted me and when I contacted the company again regarding the promotion and reaching Devon they told me Devon no longer works for them and nobody knew anything.

This has been a HORRIBLE experience. I would like this job finished A.S.A.P or they can take this door out of my home and bring me back my previous door. By April 15th I would like this matter resolved.

The complaints are as follows:
There is a structural defect in the doorway from the top of the door to the bottom of the door
The tile next to the door is uneven and broken in parts from where Florida Home Improvement cut into my floor to install the door
The tile floor they cut into was not replaced with a finished edge. As of now, the walkway of the door is raised and coming up
There are numerous screws protruding through the door frame
Numerous nails are left uncovered
The bottom of the outside door isn't covered with the plastic cover as promised
The top of the outside door looks like it was broken off and doesn't look flushed with the extending door
There is damage to the molding surrounding the door
unfinished/patchy molding

The windows seem to be well done. The installers have no respect for the home in which they are working. I am still finding broken glass in my carpet and yard. They chipped off stonework on the front of my house and did not replace it after installation. I'm still waiting for a sliding door screen. One slider does not latch properly. The hardware on the door frame is not tight. They did not repair all of the stucco that they broke and did not paint any that they did repair. They chipped my kitchen counter where they installed a window (2 places). They left a very heavy bag of something on my back porch. While they were working they kept leaving the front door open (I live in an area with lots of critters) and left the hose running overnight. I have an amateur radio station in my back room. They did not place a cover on it and it was covered with dust when they finished. These installers are oblivious to the fact that they are guests in someone else's home and have no respect for their customers.
