Dianne R.Richard Foden was hired to paint our house and install a new door and stain once installed. The painting was completed. While we provided a deposit of half down for the painting and the door/stain, during the painting, we were asked for an additional $2k to help make payroll. We declined stating the work hasn't started. 1st clue of financial problems. The paint job was completed and the balance was paid. The painters did a great job. I wish I had their contact information. The door however, was not installed by him or stained. Always an excuse, no word back, taking a class, etc. We have since hired another contractor and notified Richard that we would no longer need his service and expected our deposit as he did not deliver as indicated in contract. Crickets, webiste gone, hasn't returned calls, etc. We advised we would be contacting our attorney. Looks like he is out of business. My original review was good....until all things came to a halt. Said he was having personal problems.
