Mike, Jay, and their crew did a great job for us. It started with a couple of on-site discussions about options and pricing with Jay, who simply laid out the choices and the considerations for us and let us make up our own minds. I immediately felt a sense of confidence and trust in Jay, which was 100% validated by every member of the company and confirmed throughout the entire project.

We had six guys tear off a 50 year old double layer shake roof and the day after they were done, I went around the entire perimeter of the house and I only found two small nails and a tiny piece of tar paper under a bush. No sweeping required anywhere.

I worked in the trades for a few years and have installed a couple roofs myself. I am no expert, but I know good work when I see it, and I saw it. I work from home, but I stayed out of the way almost all the time. Once in a while, I would take a tour on the roof just for fun, and the guys were honestly enthusiastic about showing me what they had done, particularly their clever or elegant solutions to tricky problems. These guys worked hard and they worked smart. They were very efficient, clean, and thorough. They seemed generally quite happy and I got the sense that they were treated well by the owners.

At the conclusion of the project, I found a couple of small things that needed a bit of rework. I told Mike, and the guys were back the next day and got it done. This was in November 2015, when news of a looming El Nino was all over the place and Fassio was extremely busy. I had already paid them. They could have easily blown me off for a long time and prioritized new business. But they took care of me all the way. Five stars for sure!

We were in desperate need of a new roof before the (hopefully) wet season sets in. We contacted several companies for bids, but were most satisfied with the bid we received from Fassio Roofing, so we went with them. And we are SO glad we did! First of all, they managed to get to us several weeks earlier than expected. On the first day, they had their entire crew out at our house, including both of the owners. Throughout the week, Jay checked in with me daily so I knew exactly where they were in the process. As expected, our roof had some pretty extensive damage, thanks to a poorly installed roof decades ago and years of neglect from the previous owners. Jay went through my options and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Both Jay and his foreman, Carlos, were very patient with my many questions. At the end of each day, the crew cleaned up after themselves. My patio looked better after they left than before they started! I am thrilled with the result!

This review is long overdue, Jay and his team did a fantastic job installing 5 skylight at my house. Jay is very professional and his crew is very efficient at installation. He went above and beyond at making sure I was happy with my decision at picking out the right skylight. Jay's price is extremely reasonable and I just can't say enough good thing about Jay and his team. You just can't go wrong with Jay Saber Roofing.

I am so glad I found this roofing business on Yelp. Jay was such a treat to work with and this was the fastest and most efficient experience I have ever had with a contractor. I called them at 4:30pm and Jay called me right back. We scheduled them to come out the next morning at 8:30 am and they were abe to immediately tell where the leak was coming from. They determined we had roof vents that were leaking and they came out on a Saturday morning to replace them along with the surrounding roof area. No more leaks and the price was very reasonable. I will be using him in the future for all my roofing needs.

Great work. We had a roof installed on a house that gets a lot of weather (high on a mountain and facing bay). J and his crew did a great job - addressed specific issues unique to our property (100+ mph - gusts on occasion off the bay). Very organized and clean - would recommend J to anyone looking to have a roof installed. Job went well without issues - stayed on budget - a few routine wood repairs (which were additional cost) that J explained in detail prior to correcting / going forward.

All in all - A+.

Jay and his team are the best!

I called him after being referred to him by a good friend who had had some work done on her roof and was happy with the results. During the last rainy period, I discovered a roof leak that was coming through our 2nd story ceiling and leaving a giant water stain in its wake. Not cute! I called Jay feeling desperate - it was still continuing to rain off and on and within days - despite their busy schedule - his crew was out repairing our roof and fixing the problem. They also replaced several shingles that had come loose over time.

Responsive, friendly, professional - Truly a 5-star experience. Like Guy C. posted in hi review - I almost did feel (kind of :) happy spending money on my roof!

I called J Saber out after we discovered a roof leak that I could not detect because of vaulted ceilings. Jay came out and gave me his recommendations and told me his crew would definitely find our problem. We decided to have Jay's crew remove part of the roof and correct any issues. Love, love, love Jay and his guys!!! They did an amazing job on our old 1937 cabin roof. Not only did it need a huge amount of repairs due to wood rot and termites,but the framing underneath it was not level where additions had been added on. Jay and his guys fixed all of it and then some. Not to mention in the middle of the night it started to rain and they drove all of the way back to cover it. Talk about customer service! I highly recommend Jay and love his down to earth honest personality. He will always be the one we call for any roofing needs. All of the stars in the world to rate Jay!

After getting 6-7 estimates, I went with Jay because he advised not only patching my leaks (as the others) but fixing the actual problem (of a flat roof and puddling). They were fast, efficient, friendly, clean and super professional.
Definitely recommend!
Plus, got it done before the rains(or when we thought it would rain!!)
