For 39 years, Farmer Roofing has been a reliable partner for Texans facing the challenges of storms that impact our area. From hailstorms to hurricanes, Farmer Roofing has consistently stepped in to return properties to their former state and help Texans rebuild.

In 1980, Hal Farmer established a relationship of trust with Charles Allen, his family's longtime State Farm Agent in Farmers Branch, Texas. Charles challenged Hal to repair a chronic leak at his residence in Addison. Following several efforts, Hal finally rectified the leak that had baffled others. This initiated a valuable mentorship between the two.

Charles dedicated time to teach Hal the nuances of communicating with policyholders. “Be straightforward and avoid the common pitfalls of many roofers in the Dallas Metroplex who assume every roof has damage,” was Allen's advice to Hal. With this guidance, Hal and Allen started their professional relationship. In the following years, Charles sent countless clients to Farmer Roofing, receiving nothing but positive feedback from them.

The reputation of Farmer's dedication to his agency quickly circulated. Before long, many local Dallas/Fort Worth agents began to rely on Farmer Roofing for roof inspections related to potential claims.

Originally from Farmers Branch, Texas, Hal Farmer now resides in Dallas. He began his roofing career while attending the University of North Texas.

That was in 1980!

Following his graduation from UNT, Hal balanced growing his roofing business with parenting his son.

He has evolved his business into the respected contracting firm it stands as today. Having successfully installed more than 35,000 roofs in North Texas, Hal and his team at Farmer Roofing are seen as a benchmark in the construction field in the area.

For more than ten years, Farmer Roofing has held an A+ rating with the BBB and has been recognized as a Premier Service Provider for State Farm Insurance since 2007.

Today, Farmer Roofing Systems and Restoration is stronger than ever. After shifting their office to Addison in January 2013 to handle rising demand, they are staffed with expert project managers and administrators. This ensures that the legacy of Farmer Roofing, built by Hal, continues to thrive!
