For 39 years, Farmer Roofing has been a reliable partner for Texans facing the challenges of storms that impact our area. From hailstorms to hurricanes, Farmer Roofing has consistently stepped in to return properties to their former state and help Texans rebuild.

Hal Farmer earned the trust of Charles Allen, a long-standing State Farm Agent in Farmers Branch, Texas, back in 1980. Charles put Hal to the test by asking him to fix a persistent leak at his home in Addison. Following several efforts, Hal finally rectified the leak that had baffled others. This was the start of their mentorship journey.

Charles dedicated time to teach Hal the nuances of communicating with policyholders. “Just be honest and don’t fall into the trap like many roofers in the Dallas Metroplex who think every roof is damaged,” Allen advised Hal. With this invaluable wisdom, Hal and Allen began their collaborative journey. In the years that followed, Charles referred Farmer Roofing to numerous clients, all of whom praised their work.

Word quickly spread about Farmer's dedication to his agency. In no time, many agents in the Dallas/Fort Worth area began to depend on Farmer Roofing for roof inspections concerning potential claims.

Hal Farmer hails from Farmers Branch, Texas, and currently lives in Dallas. Hal started his roofing journey during his college years at the University of North Texas.

That was back in 1980!

Upon graduating from UNT, Hal expanded his roofing business while also raising his son.

He has evolved his business into the respected contracting firm it stands as today. With over 35,000 roofs completed in North Texas, Hal and his team at Farmer Roofing are regarded as top professionals in the local construction sector.

For more than ten years, Farmer Roofing has held an A+ rating with the BBB and has been recognized as a Premier Service Provider for State Farm Insurance since 2007.

Currently, Farmer Roofing Systems and Restoration is thriving. Following their move to Addison in January 2013 to accommodate increased demand, they now have a team of highly trained project managers and administrators. This ensures that the legacy of Farmer Roofing, built by Hal, continues to thrive!
