In 1980, Hal Farmer gained the confidence of Charles Allen, his family's long-time State Farm Agent in Farmers Branch, Texas. To test Hal's skills, Charles requested that he address a long-standing leak at his personal home in Addison. Following several efforts, Hal finally rectified the leak that had baffled others. This initiated a valuable mentorship between the two.

Charles invested time in guiding Hal on effective communication with policyholders. “Call it as it is and steer clear of the mindset that every roof has issues, like many roofers in the Dallas Metroplex,” was Allen's lesson to Hal. Armed with this wisdom, Hal and Allen embarked on a collaborative path. In the following years, Charles sent countless clients to Farmer Roofing, receiving nothing but positive feedback from them.

News of Farmer's commitment to his agency spread rapidly. In no time, many agents in the Dallas/Fort Worth area began to depend on Farmer Roofing for roof inspections concerning potential claims.

Hal Farmer, a native of Farmers Branch, Texas, currently calls Dallas home. Hal started his roofing journey during his college years at the University of North Texas.

That was in the year 1980!

Upon graduating from UNT, Hal expanded his roofing business while also raising his son.

He has evolved his business into the respected contracting firm it stands as today. With over 35,000 roofs completed in North Texas, Hal and his team at Farmer Roofing are regarded as top professionals in the local construction sector.

For more than ten years, Farmer Roofing has held an A+ rating with the BBB and has been recognized as a Premier Service Provider for State Farm Insurance since 2007.

Today, Farmer Roofing Systems and Restoration is stronger than ever. After relocating their office to Addison in January 2013 to meet growing demand, they are equipped with highly skilled project managers and administrators. This assures that the legacy of Farmer Roofing, which Hal built, continues to flourish!
