Richard showed up on time and masked. He was very pleasant and went on the roof for a look as well as into the garage to see the condition of the plywood under the worn shingles. He noticed a few rotten boards that needed replacing but said we didn't need to replace all of them which reduced his total cost estimate considerably. Other roofers added the cost of a complete wood replacement which wasn't necessary. His estimate was very reasonable and we made an appointment. Since his crew had been with him for many years, they were very experienced and pleasant. Each man knew exactly what to do and they finished in three days. It could have been two but one day was spent waiting for the building inspector to inspect and sign off on the permit. Richard does things right and by the book. You can't go wrong by hiring him. No wonder he is so busy!

Richard has been doing business in the industry for over thirty years and the quality of his crew, materials and knowledge reflect this. I had the pleasure of contracting with Richard for a complete re-roofing of my home. I was shocked at his estimate which was 10K under what other roofer's had provided. He explained his business model and process; in short: be honest. He provided an estimate and then I had some issues gathering funds. When I contacted him ten months later, he kept to his original estimate (""his word""). After some minor formalities, his crew arrived and they were done in four days (complete with redoing my gutters, trim and replacing damaged wood). The roof looks AMAZING. And Richard kept to his word, kept his appointments, and always was in communication with me. I read some of the past comments, and it is true, messages sometimes are not responded to - but he always followed up in my experience. I've been leaving messages to have my roof replaced and no one has returned my phone call. Obviously, they are busy and don't need business, but a simple call back would've been appreciated. Especially after I signed a contract and got an estimate.

I am reviewing for my aunt who has been calling him non stop to fix the leaky roof. His voicemail says 3 months out, apparently same message from 2 years ago. Sad. Seems like a shady businessman

Very pleased with our new roof! Richard said he could complete the roof in three days. On the first day his crew tore off our old roof and completed the new roof by the third day. The debris was cleaned up every evening. Truly a professional roofing company.

Richard Fannin installed our roof for the company that gutted our house before we moved in at the beginning of last year. We have documentation that the roof is under warranty. We had one leak that they promptly checked and Richard said they just had to adjust the flashing and all should be well. The roof survived this winter's rains.
Roughly six weeks ago, after our last rain, the roof started leaking a fair amount into our master bedroom. We called Fannin immediately, received a recording that said repairs were 3 months out, and I left a message anyway. Maybe 2 weeks later Marco showed up out of the blue to check the leak (no call to say they were coming). He saw the interior and said it was bad. He then went outside. I had to leave for an appointment and when I returned, Marco was gone. I never received a follow up.
I have been calling and leaving messages once a week for six weeks. I have not heard anything. I don't know if we have an appointment and we have been waiting for roughly two months. Since our roof is guaranteed through Richard Fannin, we're waiting for them to fix it, free of charge. It's been two months so hopefully we only have to wait one more month to make it three but we have no confirmation that we're on their radar or on the books for repairs. Please contact us!

Richard did 1/2 my roof a few years back, did a great job, no more leaks!!! Couldn't review before because there was no rain...now that we have rain, my leaks are fixed!!!
