They got they got the old wood that was bad off my house and now I will be ready for when it rains in the Fall or Winter time. I also like my new gutters and gutter guards.

I am not new to contractor work and have specifically worked with roofing contractors in the past. John by far has been one of the best people I have had to work with. He is ""old school"" and professional. He is a straight shooter and will get straight to the point. He is punctual and is a man of his word. I appreciate his candidness and his professionalism. In today's working society, they don't make them like John anymore.

John is a resource of knowledge. He uses that knowledge to benefit his customer. He came with many references and I found him through word of mouth. I actually saw the many praises through the NextDoor app. Surprisingly enough, he actually did the roof of 4 houses in my immediate surrounding neighborhood.

John's team works efficiently and got the job done right. He addressed all of the problems he faced and made sure they were corrected. His team is very courteous and cleans up every day! It's almost like they were never there on a daily basis.

He did all the work within his quoted price and did not go one penny over budget. Mind you his price was the most reasonable and economical out of the four quotes I received.

A great sign that John is always thinking of his customers is when he apologetically had to reschedule his initial visit with me as he had to make a project weather tight due to a last minute rainstorm that was unexpected.

I strongly recommend his work if you can get into his schedule. He does stay busy despite not actively advertising. (He's been doing this for years!)

The cool bonus is you get to see his cool blue truck in action. My little one enjoyed the truck sitting in our driveway and also seeing the bed loft in action.

Jon and his crew are the best !!! Total tear down and re roof my tri level home this past week March 3, 2023.

John Van Ronk is an old school honest roofer and businessman. I called and he returned my call that day. We made an appointment for the next day. He had a window of time that was earlier than my appointment and he called to see if it would work for me. He arrived a few minutes after his call. He examined by roof and removed some tiles to assess the situation. He showed me how to carefully work with the tiles. He determined that the marks on the ceiling was due to condensation and that I did not need any work on my roof. He instructed me how to fix some cracked tiles and how to repair a vent with screws. As he was leaving he looked for some screws to help with my repairs. He then called Central Builders telling them to put a specific roofing caulk aside for me to pick up. He waived any charges. When I picked up the caulk they told me that John had put the caulk on his account and there was no charge. I insisted on paying for the caulk.
Meeting John reinforced my desire to work with family run businesses vs. corporate chains. He was down to earth, honest, straight forward and had the integrity to tell me that work did not need to be done. He gave me tips of how I could resolve my problem.
What a relief to find an honest contractor in todays cut throat environment.
My next roofing job will be going to Family Roofing.

Family Roofing is simply, "" The Best"" !! John and Kyle were wonderful to work with from scheduling an apt. to getting the job completed. Kyle was so helpful in explaining all aspects of roof vents, fixing flashing, fixing a flat top roof. So happy that the hot air will be out of my house and the rain will not be in my house.

My desire to replace my patio slider resulted in the discovery of water damage. It was clear that I needed to determine the cause of the water intrusion before the new door could go in.
I left message on the voicemails of several roofing companies. Within an hour I had a callback from Kyle @ Family Roofing, and he arrived shortly thereafter.
He gave the roof a thorough inspection, as well as the construction of the back of my home which has beams supporting a pergola and awning. His determination that the bolts holding up these beams lead to their removal and the discovery of stucco damage. Kyle even came back the next day while it was raining to see if he could observe any water running into the house.

He went above and beyond on the weekend. I greatly appreciate his knowledge and advice that kept my project moving forward on Monday rather than waiting for callbacks from roofing companies.

Family Roofing was recommended by several neighbors off Next Door so I gave them a call this morning about getting a quote for a new roof. Kyle was on our roof within 30 minutes! He was very personable, friendly and gave us an extremely reasonable quote and realistic timeframe for installation should we move forward. If we decide to go with a non-metal roof, Kyle and Family Roofing are the guys we will go with. I feel no need for another quote. Great service!

Called them for an appointment said they would be out Tuesday between 10-12. No call, no show. Called them at 12:30, said they would call me back in 5 minutes. Didn't. Called them back at 1:30 to find out when they were coming as I had taken the day off work to take care of the roof from the wind storm. They stated that weren't sure...that this was a free estimate, so whenever. ???? Very RUDE. Never did call me back to state whether they were going to come and inspect roof. Would highly recommend AGAINST this company. Guess customer service is a no go with this ""Family"" business.....

John and his crew did a great job. Took off my concert tile roof which has been a very poor roof. Had lots of leaks over the years.
The new roof installed is a Comp. 40 year roof. Family roofing was very reasonably priced
Highly recommend John & Kyle. Matt did a great job on the new gutters.
