Called them for an appointment said they would be out Tuesday between 10-12. No call, no show. Called them at 12:30, said they would call me back in 5 minutes. Didn't. Called them back at 1:30 to find out when they were coming as I had taken the day off work to take care of the roof from the wind storm. They stated that weren't sure...that this was a free estimate, so whenever. ???? Very RUDE. Never did call me back to state whether they were going to come and inspect roof. Would highly recommend AGAINST this company. Guess customer service is a no go with this ""Family"" business.....

John and his crew did a great job. Took off my concert tile roof which has been a very poor roof. Had lots of leaks over the years.
The new roof installed is a Comp. 40 year roof. Family roofing was very reasonably priced
Highly recommend John & Kyle. Matt did a great job on the new gutters.

John (family roofing) has done several roofs for me on my house and my rentals. The company is phenomenal....do what they say, say what they do....and just flat out get it done!!! I read the previous reviews and saw they got a negative review because they showed up early and went to work.....Man I wish I could get everyone to do that!!!!! Obviously not someone who is used to working with contractors.

Family Roofing did my Mother's roof and gutters this past March and we're very happy with the job they did. John Van Ronk is ""old school"" as my Mom pointed out and has integrity which is very hard to find these days when finding contractors. Very reasonable bid too compared to the other company we had bid on our roof .Everything he promised they delivered on. Thanks again John!

John, came to our house and was going to give an estimate, but did not get estimate. When I called, he said tried to called but not get answer, weird since we have voicemail. JOHN said was headed to SF in th car, so? I wanted to be brief. John said his schedule is full through the rest of the year! FYI

What a fantastic company. I originally hired Henry Roofing to do the job at a recommendation of my real estate agent For our new house in Napa. After not returning my calls and cancelling the date we agreed upon and ""didn't know when he could reschedule"" I hired Family Roofing. I called and they came down the next day and gave me a bid that was a little bit lower than Henry. I had a feeling these guys meant business. Well they did....It's been raining quite a bit but they said they would be able to knock it out quick because the house was small even if they had to come the weekend. He called the next day, Friday and told me they'd be there Tuesday. Well, Tuesday the old roof was off and Wed the new roof was on. Great job and great guys.

I called 3 roofers for some leaks. The first said it would be $950 to fix the main leak, guaranteed. They would tare up and reroof the bad section. He said the rest of the roof looked good and would last 10 more years. The second was Family Roofing. They listened to all the same spiel I told the first roofer, noticed my DIY repairs on other parts of my house, and instead of bidding gave me the materials required to repair each leak myself and walked through the process! Without charging me a cent! He said that I should call them in 3 years when I need a whole new roof, and I definitely will! The 3rd roofer? He never called back.

After having a terrible experience with Modern Method Roofing and not getting return calls from two others I did get a return call from Family Roofing and they came to my house the same day! They fixed the two vent pipe leaks I was aware of and found several others that I didn't know about. All repairs were done in about an hour and the price was less than I expected. I was told if there are any problems they would take care of them right away. After my bad experiences it was refreshing to find a company that gave me the impression of being honest and competent.
Highly recommended.
