After the rains hit this month of December, I couldn't find any roof repair agencies willing to come out and look at my roof, except for Falcon. From the phone call to the first visit, they have been professional, courteous, and responsive.

Falcon did repairs on my condo roof last winter only to have it leak again this winter in a similar area. Was told someone would come by in the morning to fix - 6 hours later and still no sign of anyone, not even a callback with an update. No direct way to get in touch, unresponsive and an answering service that does nothing to help or reassure customers. As nice as I thought the gentleman who fixed my roof was last time, would recommend going elsewhere - leaky roofs are no small matter and it doesn't help that they don't have people who care enough to respond.

Avoid. They assume you are dumb and a moron. They will quote ridiculous amount that is 4-5 times others quote and see how you react.

Working with Falcon Roofing was an amazing experience. My clients and I were very, very pleased with the results. Detail-oriented, on schedule, and followed through. Very easy to communicate with, prompt and honest. They even put in extra work to make sure the quality was high and the clients were happy. I would highly recommend working with them.

I cannot tell about the quality of work that was done on the roof since I relied on their photos which came after 4+ months of the work being done. But if you are a busy person and want a problem free good experience I would NOT recommend this company.

Mario and his team came out to my home in December of 2012 after the rain storms had made it clear that there was a leak in my roof. Within 4 days, the repairs had been completed satisfactorily and I got a new solar+electric attic fan installed, in addition to some patchwork done on the roof.

I'm writing today, 1+ year later because I'm now filing my taxes for 2013 and Mario had upsold me on the solar fan by touting the tax credit I could take advantage of. However, after 4 email requests, and multiple phone calls over the course of the past year I still haven't been provided details on my purchase, a final receipt, or an itemized statement so that I can claim the tax credit. I had been in contact with Mario, Miguel (supposedly the Office Manager), and at least one woman, and was repeatedly assured that ""they would get right on the request,"" or, that they were ""shocked that I hadn't received anything yet."" Time after time, they said they'd send me the requested details but were never able to look up the data on my service live while I was on the phone.

The initial service and quality of service of the work done on my house was great, but backend customer service has been horrendous and I've wasted way too much time on trying to track down the needed information so I can claim the tax credit.

Overall service I'd rate very high, but due to terrible backend customer service I'm rating Falcon Roofing 1 star. I feel cheated that Mario upsold me to the solar fan with the lure of the tax credit (costing me an additional ~$250) but they've not been able/willing to provide me with the needed documentation for me to get the tax credit.

3/28, an update on this one: After I wrote the above Yelp review, Mario reached out via phone, and followed up in person to apologize. He also helped rectify the situation by reimbursing me the amount I would have received with the tax credit. Very impressed with his closure of this issue -- he's a stand-up guy, and does good work.

After many hours of searching we decided to go with a light weight Capistrano tile (Eagle Roofing was the manufacturer). The lighter weight allowed us to install on our existing roof with no structural reinforcement. We knew that tile roofs were much more difficult to install than composition roofs so we asked for recommendations. Who better to ask than the manufacturer?

Luckily, the manufacturer's rep was very honest and was only comfortable providing the names of 3 companies. Since Mario / Falcon Roofing received the highest recommendation of the three; we went with him. It so happened that he was also the least expensive.

During the installation process we encountered numerous issues; unrelated to Mario's company. Luckily, Mario was willing to help out and he was extremely reasonable with additional costs and timing.

It had been my experience in the past that when contractors were asked to do additional work; their quotes for the extras were extra costly, but not so with Mario. Mario only requested for enough money to pay his workers directly for dry rot repairs. Fortunately, the quality of his employees' work was just as good if not better than some of the finish contractors we had working on our home.

I would highly recommend Mario/Falcon Roofing for family, friends and clients (20+ year real estate broker).

I only give it 1 star because there's not an option to pick ZERO Stars. Called these people to estimate cleaning my roof and the individual they sent out told me to call someone else. No quote, no interest, WORTHLESS, even though they advertise that they CLEAN ROOFS! Don't waste your time......

First of it was very hard to choose a company to come out here. There are many companies that do not do repairs and consider my job to be too small. I finally found this company Falcon Roofing that was able to help me. They came to my house ans gave me options. I am happy with their honest opinion and professionalism. I highly recommend this diamond in a rough company for any roof repairs. Ask for Richard Renteria he is honest and friendly
