We utilized FAB Construction based upon all the positive reviews. FAB replaced two ugly, old bubble-dome skylights in our kitchen area ten days ago, and we couldn't be happier. The initial estimate conducted was very professional, involving Franco and his son Frankie., explaining in clear detail what would be involved. Wtihin a day or so, we were provided with a detailed estimate by e-mail, and the communication back and forth with Julia allowed us to tweak what we wanted done. Each time we made a change, an updated estimate was immediately provided. On the day the work commenced, Franco and Frankie plus one other worker showed up right on time. The project was done in a methodical manner, with the kitchen being completely tarped and kept as clean as one could expect. Our job was completed in two days, plus a couple hours on the third day to install a new part that had been damaged by the manufacturer, which Franco quickly ordered on day one and had overnighted. We now have sleek, new skylights which have opening/closing blinds, opening/closing vent panels, and precipitation detection which causes the vents to close if it starts raining. Absolutely FAB!!! We will definitely use these folks again later in the year to replace two remaining ugly, outdated skylights.

I cannot give enough stars for FAB Construction. Franco, Jessica, and the whole team are wonderful to work with. From our very first estimate with Franco, my husband and I knew that we were in good hands with FAB. Since October 2014, we have had 3 projects done in our home: Master bathroom remodel, additional cabinets with built in wine-fridge in our kitchen, and we replaced a window with French doors to lead out to our patio and pool. Each project was completed with ease and the finished products far exceed our expectations. Franco and Jessica were more than helpful throughout the entire process (from planning to execution) and we knew that they always had our best interest in mind. We have had more estimates done from FAB for some more projects we are planning, and every estimate we have gotten is very fair.

We will absolutely be using FAB construction for all of our future home renovation projects. They are simply the best.

Franco and his team transformed our dark early 70's ranch house. For years we wanted to install skylights to brighten up our ""cave"", but the idea of cutting a hole in a perfectly good roof and the unattractive old school skylights scared me off. After enduring 10 years of darkness I again researched skylights and came across FAB Construction. I was impressed with the reviews and the modern Velux skylights FAB installs. We hired FAB to install 2 skylights in the family room and 1 in the kitchen. We also installed a light tunnel in the hallway. What a difference it makes! In addition to the skylights Franco's team Installed a new granite counter top, back splash, range hood, RO system, sink, garbage disposal and faucet. They also upgraded all of the cieling lights to new LED fixtures that are awesome and removed a very 70""s wetbar and made it look like it was never there. The remote control operation of the skylights is nice, window open and close and blinds open and close We like to close the blinds (briefly) just to remind us of why we put the skylights in. Their attention to detail is excellent and when problems arose they were dealt with in a professional manner.

So, today I received a phone call from Franco out of the blue about our roof. We had an appointment for next week to install the roof tiles ordered but because of the threat of rain, Franco wanted to move our appointment up just in case. He called me this morning and I got the confirmation and pictures mid afternoon. I truly believe that FAB construction went way above and beyond and I can't recommend them enough! Very professional, efficient, concerned with meeting (and exceeding) the customer's expectations. All questions were thoroughly answered. The only thing I could say that they could do better is come out to LA County to do the roof on our new house! But, if you're in the IE and need roofing done, I highly recommend Franco and his team.

We had a small water leak behind the refrigerator that caused more damage than I would have ever imagined. Of course the insurance company wanted to refer us to one of their ""preferred"" contractors, but I was not comfortable with that so I began to do my research to find a company that was going to do the best job at the best price. As it turned out the ""preferred"" contractor came with some pretty bleak reviews and wanted to charge thousands more.
In my research I found FAB Construction. I contacted them and spoke with Jessica who quickly determined that we were within their area of service and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. We needed to have the existing hardwood floors removed and replaced and the walls patched and painted. Because of the layout of our home, the entire house had to be painted, with exception of the bedrooms. The estimate was much better than expected. (we had several).
Franco and his crew are AWESOME!! They were at our house every morning, on time and ready to work. And they worked hard! The walls were patched and the first coat of paint was done the first day.
I have heard contractor horror stories and was prepared to experience at least a little horror, but there was none. Any concerns that I may have had throughout the project were addressed quickly by Franco and/or Jessica and my worries were put to rest. To be honest, the outcome of this ""accidental remodel"" exceeded my expectations. I didn't know my house could look so beautiful. The downside to that is, the things that were not affected by the water and not part of the accidental remodel, now look terrible in comparison. The upside is, I have a great contractor to do the work.
If you need a contractor, go no further, Franco is your guy.

My wife and I just purchased a new house, knowing that we HAD to do something to get some light into the dark gloomy entryway. After talking to a few companies, I came across FAB Construciton here on Yelp and decided to give them a call. After a short conversation, an estimate appointment was set up with Franco (who was honest, respectful and just a nice guy overall) and we agreed to move forward.
Communication over the phone, as well as email is excellent with FAB Construction, they replied promptly to my questions/concerns and the flexibility of talking to them via email was a huge plus for me.
As far as the job itself, Jessica and Franco went above and beyond and worked a miracle for us. We wanted the sun tunnel installed before we showed our family the house so we were in a rush...and when the team at FAB had an opening come up they accomodated our job and squeezed us in and everything was completed beautifully, quickly and WAY earlier than anyone could have anticipated. We are thrilled with the work they did and will be calling them again for sure!

I would definitely recommend Franco and his team and will use them for our projects again in the future! We knew we wanted to remodel our fireplace, but had no idea where to start (other than a picture we had found of one we liked). I had called 10 different contractors and got bids from 3. Franco was the most professional, responsive and helpful, and spent a lot of time with me on the phone and in person helping me figure the best material and design to fit our home layout before we even secured his services. His team was excellent and always cleaned up after themselves! And they were by far the most affordable of all the contractors we got bids from. We absolutely love our new fireplace and we feel like we have a brand new house! Thank you FAB construction!

Franco is absolutely wonderful! He addressed any and all of our concerns quickly and efficiently and even stopped by our house on a Sunday to alleviate a concern I had about a crack in my ceiling (unrelated to any work he had done). He is also excellent about communication and always got back to me within an hour of a call or text. On top of being just an overall very nice and honest guy, he was also very respectful of our home. From the bottom of my heart, you truly can trust Franco!
