I had an old Dome skylight to replace and talked to 3 different skylight companies.
Two of them, both with decent reviews, claimed it wouldn't be possible to replace the existing skylight with a one piece glass. The third one returned with an offer for a plastic dome skylight despite my specific request for an offer of a glass skylight.

The skylight had to be ordered at the manufacturer. Jessica who handles the administration, kept me informed about the delivery.

We needed to replace a 30-year old, non-energy efficient skylight. I did some Yelp research, and I am so happy that we decided to go with FAB Construction.
On several occasions, we spoke to or emailed Franco, the owner of FAB Construction. He was always very prompt and professional when responding, and most important, knowledgeable and helpful in regards to the Velux Skylight with solar powered blinds that we eventually installed. Franco provided a prompt and fair estimate for the work. We ordered the skylight, and within the week, Franco contacted us to let us know that the order was in and his crew could be scheduled. On the day of installation, a two-man crew from FAB construction showed up right on time, as promised! They were friendly, courteous, and went right to work and completed the job in a professional manner.
From the initial call to Franco to the completed job, I was very pleased. Thank you, FAB Construction for great customer service and a job well done! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone, and I will use them again in the future for other construction needs.

I contacted FAB Construction about six months ago to discuss a skylight project. Franco spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me answering very detailed questions with the patience of a saint. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He sent me copies of his liability and worker's comp policies, and assured me he only uses employees, not independent contractors. Safety is important to me (especially with roof work), and Franco was very knowledgeable about industry safety standards and proper roof/ladder training. After receiving the estimate, It turns out the cost of the project was beyond my budget, so I had to wait for my tax refund. Six months later I contacted him again and he had the estimate stored in his computer, and was willing to work with further modifications to bring the cost down. I think a lot of contractors would have thrown up their hands at this point, but he was committed to helping me get what I wanted within my budget. I received two other estimates. FAB was in the middle, but I decided to go with them because Franco instilled so much confidence in me with his professionalism. We had to wait for the materials to be ordered, but Franco's projected start time was dead on, and the installers showed up on time. They were very conscientious of my property (floors, outdoor patio, etc), and took time to cover and protect everything from damage. Before starting, they discussed with me little details to confirm what I want, and then kept me updated about changes to those as the work progressed, which I appreciated. I have clay roof tiles, and they were very careful not to break any. They took pictures of each stage of the project and showed them to me so I could see for myself that the flashing was installed correctly, the ""leak test"" was performed, etc., then they sent me copies of the pictures for my records. They finished in one day (two skylights installed!), cleaned up after themselves adequately (not perfectly, but acceptable by contractors' standards), and provided me with the serial numbers/owner's manuals for warranty purposes. A few days later Franco called to make sure I was happy with the work, which is the sign of a true professional. I am very impressed with this company and definitely recommend them without hesitation.

This place was awesome Francisco came out diagnosed the problem immediately and also noticed another spot that was going to give of problems. We did a second quote from another company that didn't even mention the other spot and their quote was 2x what franciscos was. We also got before and after pictures. Very happy with the results and the rapid fix of the problem. Highly recommend.

We needed a skylight installed over our open porch entry. Due to my busy schedule FAB was able to come out and email me the quote. I signed the contract and emailed it back. They then came back and installed while I was at work again. Payment was sent and I never saw them from start to finish. Their work was excellent and all clean up was done. Will be using them again in the future.

Everything went very smooth with my repair. They were able to get me an appointment within a couple of days (even during el nino season). They showed up on time, repaired the damage quickly, and they stuck to the quote they gave me over the phone...plus it was much cheaper than other places I called around to. Basically, excellent service at an excellent price...I highly recommend them!
