i hope this is the right excel roofing....i contracted to have my roof replaced through the lowes in middleburg...thing were fine until the roof started leaking and riuned my ceiling in the kitchen that i just had the popcorn removed and textured....so i went to lowes and complained and basically they did very little other than to send someone out to look.....they did nothing so i had another company look that i had do another rental of mine...they found a problem with a cricket around the chimney not meeting code..so armed with this new info i pitched a fit with the manager at lowes and he finally agreed to discount some appliances i was buying anyway......well the leak continued so i sent the other company back out and he found that the flashing/paper was incorrect around the chimney....i havent contacted lowes again but doubt ill have much luck there.....on monday ill try to contact excel..the phone number lowes gave me is no longer a good number for excel so well see what happens

After hiring them for over $10,000 to do my roof, about a month ago it leaked, we called them immediately, as of today we have not heard a word back, please try not to use these folks, their follow through is horrible, there is no follow-up, very disappointed, I had to get someone else to correct the problem.

We had Excel put our new roof on about 4 years ago. It's been fine. I called them right after Irma to let them know we had a small leak in a skylight but were fine for the time being--we knew they had a lot of big issues to take care of. That was 2 1/2 months ago. We've called repeatedly and they've made promises they have not kept. The worst part is there is no communication. We have sold our home and are planning to close in less than two weeks. We've explained this but have not had any luck. They know the closing is contingent on an inspection and certification from them. My husband is going to go by their office tomorrow. I have a sick feeling. Would never recommend them

I just had the most Unpleasant experience with Excel roofing company these past 2 months.
I made an appointment for the estimator to come out to give me an estimate on a new roof since mine was damaged from hurricane Irma. They said that they were all booked so we had to wait 3 weeks, which was fine with us. After the person came to my property and did the estimate, left without leaving any information for us. I waited for a few days to follow up with them for an estimate.
The person that answered the phone sounds clueless and said that someone will call me back. I waited another week then no one has contacted me so I called back for my estimate. This time, the girl on the phone said that the estimator was busy so he will email at the end of the week. I waited until the end of the week again and mind you, it has been 6 weeks since I contacted them.
Anyhow, I called back because there was no email or calls sent to me for a week. A very UNPROFESSIONAL person picked up and told me they were on lunch break. Honestly, if you don't want me business, please don't waste my time so I could find a better and more reliable company to hire.
I've wasted 2 whole months with this Ridiculous company and their unbelievable Rude customer/answering service. I give up!!! Thanks for Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm well satisfied with the company. They replaced my 22 year old roof for a good price, and with excellent results. Got an immediate test with Hurricane Irma, that missed a direct hit, but still gave us strong winds.
Only hitch... they started on a Friday, but discovered the inspector wasn't available, and left my house ""protected"" with tarps. Unfortunately, we got a storm Saturday night and had water pouring into the kitchen. I called/left messages, and got someone out Sunday afternoon. The young man worked hard, and assured me the exposed area was covered.
Unfortunately, less than an hour after he left, we got another thunderstorm. This time, we had water pouring into the kitchen from two recessed lights.
Owner came by and promised to make it right. About a week later, he sent a guy to resurface the damaged ceiling. Looks great!
Overall, I was very pleased with his response. Also like that their employees are full time, not temp hires.

Horrible -sent 2 workers(hardly spoke english , no company name on van, No one from company every came by to check on work or tell me when completed or that some xtra wood was needed. I was home these 3 days . Had concerns , took owner 2 weeks to arrive- agreed some things were not right- never returned to fix- i payed for the roof after going to their office- never got a certificate of completetion- my only payment proof is the canceled check. I had the issues fixed by other means . Tired of hearing excuses or promises- expect if a roof issue arrived im on my own- TIRED OF EXCUSES- SAD I HAD TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKES.

Repaired a 10ftX15ft area, replaced shingles, installed new 8ft ridge vent, repaired vent plywood opening, replaced two skylights, and removed all waste! Very professional and knowledgeable beyond our expectations. Scott, your company is second to none! loved the repair crew and our new skylights! Thank you, and welcome to the family rolodex. You will be my first call when we replace the entire roof! Check them out, you won't regret it ;)

Scott and his team just finished installing a new roof on our bungalow in Avondale. I've worked with many contractors and I'm not the easiest to please. So when someone gets 5 stars, they've truly earned it from me. Great job all the way around. Excellent customer service, consistent level of communication (which was important since I'm in another city currently), finished on time, everything cleaned up as promised and at the price quoted. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Did not finish job even after 3 times on the phone and a few time in person discussing this matter did not tarp the roof left roofing nails around house and when it rained the extra nails rolled off the roof and on the driveway I picked them up before they were in my tires.There are a lot of other roofing companies out there nothing special about this one go with someone else.
