After a year, we finally received rain to put Martins work to the test. Unfortunately, there's still breakthrough of rain, so I reached out to Martin asking to take a look at my roof/repair again. He no showed twice, and now won't respond to my texts. If you plan to use this person, make sure you can verify his work, and his guarantee on his work apparently has no value. What a bummer cause I thought I had found an honest roofer.

I wanted to leave the highest compliment for Martin Quevedo and his crew at Everlasting Roofing.

We were interested in installing a home solar system and wanted to get ahead of the new Net Metering changes in CA which are detrimental to homeowners and discourages solar installation. First step, replace our 20 yr old roof. My neighbor had recently used Martin to replace their roof prior to solar installation. After obtaining other bids and researching Martin and Everlasting, I chose Martin and am beyond pleased with the workmanship I received. Martin agreed to an installation deadline and met the goal. He took time to explain the tile options I had and advantages of each. His crew was on time, polite and professional. They cleaned up and the end of each day instead of leaving a messy job site. Attributes of a true professional. He scheduled all permit and inspections with the city of HB as needed. He was always available to communicate about the job which is important to a homeowner. He even did the extra such as replacing a chimney vent cap which had fallen off during a prior storm with a new one all on his own. I didn't ask him and he didn't charge me for this.

I spoke to city inspector who said they did a nice job. Enough said! Thx Martin! Use these guys with utmost confidence.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR. We had Martin install 2 skylights on our roof this summer (back when his company was called ""Major Quality Roofing""). He was responsive on Yelp and available to get the job done quickly.. but I should've known better. First of all, he cut holes in our ceiling/roof for the skylights unevenly, and when I tried to have it corrected he was super defensive and somehow tried to blame it on me. He also cracked a bunch of our concrete tiles in the process of installing and tried to ""repair"" it by putting an ugly white seal on them that is visible instead of just replacing the tiles themselves. A few weeks after he installed the skylights, he even texted me saying he was not confident in the leak protection and that he would come back to reinforce but he never showed up.

After the recent storm, we have MAJOR leaks coming from BOTH skylights causing damage to the interior of our home and garage. There is now mold growing on our ceiling. When I called Martin to let him know, he told me he would come and check it out and repair it before it was scheduled to rain again this week. He never showed up. After repeatedly calling/texting, he AGAIN tried to schedule something with us (mind you, my husband and I have to coordinate being home because of our work schedules) and SURPRISE SURPRISE he didn't show up AGAIN. He has absolutely NO respect for your time and does not care that his work is shoddy.

I am now in contact with another roofer to literally re-do the skylight install because Martin did such a terrible job. I'm upset I spent the money with Martin only to have everything re-done by another company 6 months later. Ridiculous.

Do not trust this company. Martin does NOT know what he is doing. He is a terrible communicator, unresponsive, and will not take accountability for his poor workmanship.

Martin was very responsive. He came and met me on time as he promised to give me an estimate. His estimate was reasonable, it was for 2 flat areas on my roof. He came on the day and time we agreed upon and began working until they finished 3 days later. They did a good job. I would consider hiring them again.

Fixed an area with broken tiles and replaced the underlayment. Had them power wash the roof while they were at it. Easy to work with. Straight forward. And a good value. Would recommend.

Excellent work. They have done two projects for me so far.
First they did an amazing and new water proofing on our flat roof.
Second they just did a water proof of our deck.
The quality of work, communication, and attitude is the best.

I hired Everlasting Roofing for a roof repair, which they did quickly and at a fair price. Weeks later, we decided to get solar, so we decided to replace our roof, even though Martin said it had a couple years of life left in it.
I got quotes from 5 different companies, some from Yelp and some from solar company referrals. The solar company referral companies quotes were very high and Martin's quote was very fair and had everything the other quotes had in them.
Martin was very patient with us and was able to pull the permit and start the project in a very reasonable time frame. They did the tear-off in one day and took care to cover our new pavers that surround our house. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. The re-roof process was very smooth and without any surprises. We passed inspection and couldn't be happier with our new roof, flashing, chimney cricket, etc. Martin even gave us some new gutters for free and what an improvement over the old gutter system we had.
Martin is fair and honest and his crew is some of the nicest and hardest working people I've ever had work on our house. They were all in a good mood and very nice to talk to and incredibly responsive to the few minor requests that we had. They cleaned up after themselves each day and I never found a single nail on our driveway or the street in front of our house. We couldn't be happier with our new roof and the entire process.

0 STARS! Stay away from this contractor, very DISHONEST!!!

We have problem with a major leaks in our living room and minor leak in the dining area back in August 2021. Martin gave his quote for $1,700 to fixed the major leak in our living room, and to put a sealant painting on our roof that should cover minor leak all over the house (1,200sqft). It didn't rain until last week that's when I contacted Martin about the leaked. He scheduled 3x but never showed up, not even a message that he wont be able to come(very unprofessional). He came today and discussed the issue but now he is telling me that I have never pointed out the leak in the dining, that he never said that sealant painting will prevent the minor leak, and that I painted my roof to make it look nice. I never care how my roof looked like, all I want is to fix the leak. I spend additional $1,000 for nothing.

PS. I should have review them after they did the work last august for not cleaning up after. They just left the bucket and can paints in front of the house and drop paint all over our barbeque grill. I just didn't care at that time as long as they have properly fix the leak but they did not. AND ALSO THIS CONTRACTOR ASKING FOR REVIEWS FROM CUSTOMER.

I would NOT recommend him to anyone!!!

Highly recommend checking with Martin before going anywhere else. The first quote I got was double what Martin and I agreed on. Sometimes you ""get what you pay for "" but his work was spot on and completed the job in one day.

Made contact with Martin off of Yelp, he came out next day give an estimate and 3 days later repaired my turbine. I couldn't ask for better service! Highly recommend.
