this Company targeted elderly people came to pressure an 86 year old cancer patient to sign documents for a new roof- very unprofessional told me to shut up while inside of my home, kept pressuring to sign documents then came back 4 days later lying that they were a different company took our tarp off our roof and 2 days ago Hurricane Idalia came they and this morning 08/31/2023 at our door lying they had an appointment with elderly home owner which is a lie we're not doing business with this company if they were the last company on earth. Lying and disrespectful and doesn't take no for an answe. if they come back or call us again I'm taking legal action

Superior Service this company goes the distance for its clients. We have done several projects and will continue to use them.

Today's date is 2/21/23. That is important to know because of the time it has taken to get to this point in my roof.
I started this journey in July 2022 when I made my first 50% payment to get my re-roof done. We selected to have the Patio flat roof and the entire house, pitched shingle roof done. When the materials showed up I noticed there was no materials for the flat roof. Made a phone call, was assured it would not be a problem. Permit picked up on 8/10/22.
On 11/3/22 the crew showed up to start tearing the roof off. When I got home from work, I noticed that the flat roof wasn't touched. I asked the crew why the flat roof wasn't touched. They said through Google translate, that they were not doing the flat roof. Another phone call to Evergreen. City Inspector came, and I didn't notice it at the time, failed the in-progress inspection. No one from Evergreen looked at the permit that was hanging in the front of the house to make sure the inspections were being signed off.
On 11/4/22 the pitch roof shingle portion was completed, flat roof has yet to be started. In the meantime, we had a category 1 hurricane blew thru (South Florida).
As I pull up to the house I noticed that the crew cut the drip edge where it meets the gutters, all the way around the house, except the flat roof. Haven't started that yet!
On 11/27/22 a single guy and his girlfriend (no pun intended) showed up and replaced all the cut drip edge around the house.
On 11/30/22 they finally show up to replace the flat roof. We all know that this was done ass backwards, you do the flat roof first, then the pitched roof so water flows off correctly!
The Final Inspection failed due to no in-progress inspection. To fix the issue he required the roof contractor to do an affidavit for the final. The final was passed without the inspector going on the roof. He looked at the affidavit, signed it and left.
Now at this point I think I am finally finished with the roof. What I haven't told you is that I had solar panels that were taken off the roof to have the re-roof done. I called the Solar Panel company to re-install the solar panels, as they were putting the brackets back on, they kept seeing nail heads sticking thru the shingles. Another call to Evergreen.
On 1/5/23, the roofing crew came and replaced 3 squares of shingles, that's 9 bundles! So now I have a repaired roof that is only a few weeks old! The City Inspector now required a Roofing Engineers report due to all the roofing issues. As of today, I still have not received a roof engineer report. It's been 3 weeks since they were here to do the inspection.
The day after the engineers came to the house I went back on the roof and found 10 more nail heads poking through the shingles. ANOTHER phone call to Evergreen. No response so far.
At this time I also called the gutter company to re-install the gutters. After they left, I noticed that the flat roof gutters did not look right. I called them back and they advised that because of the way the drip edge was put on it didn't allow the gutters to go on right. Basically the roofers forgot to put the 1x2 piece of wood behind the drip edge so the water will drip from the drip edge instead of on the fascia. So now the drip edge on the flat roof will need to be replaced and the 1x2 strips installed correctly.
This has been a $hit show from the beginning and we're not even done yet! I cannot, in good conscious, recommend this company for the simple fact that I paid for a new roof. Not a new, repaired, re-repaired roof that still needs work done to it. I simply do not trust this roof to survive a South Florida hurricane. As you can tell by the length of time, there seems to be no urgency to get it done or get it done right!
I have been without my solar panels for 5 months now and have incurred additional electrical expenses, which I have communicated to Evergreen. No word on if they will compensate.
I am a patient man, but enough is enough! Do yourselves a favor and stay away!

They failed to tarp as they worked through the week stripping the old shingles
This caused extensive damage to the top floor condominiums especially the center unit
Hurricane Sally repairs
Contractor came out promised us to replace everything we discussed. We went on military orders they never called us to make sure we were there. They never called us to confirm the work to be done. We are still suffering from extensive damage
When the contractor crew that they hired came out to make repairs they did not repair everything that needed repairing
I had extensive forensics photos testing of every magnitude done and it was not repaired/Replaced as promised.
Attracting that came out has clogged our garbage disposal with drywall mud. Our dishwasher motor is clogged with drywall mud. We had to replace our air condition unit inside and out.
Furniture was damaged drywall mud slung or it was popcorn mess we did not want the popcorn reapplied to cover up but you work
Finishing drywall is the homeowners responsibility took it upon themselves to do what they wanted without verifying it with us. We were up on orders in Virginia kept changing the dates. Dates of repair were highly important because I had to fly down.
Highly disrespected the homeowner and personal property. They were let in and did what they wanted unpluged my Internet and my security cameras for three days
Video of disaster left is available. HOA paid a cleaning lady to clean it up. There was zero supervision by everyone. We would've supervise as a homeowner but by the time we found out they were in the unit they were already finished and we could not fly down it was already done

The roofing repair never had supervisors from Evergreen company when was on maternity leave and they had no replacement
Language barrier speakspeaking Spanish communication was None and the company manager accused me of discrimination.
How is not understanding a different language discrimination? The company discriminated against us not making sure we got proper communication. My husband's first language is Spanish Husband's ethnic Mine is irrelevant. zero communication with Evergreen company Aramos was manager or project manage.
Each of the nine homeowners paid an additional $5000 to get this done out of our pocket in addition to a few thousand dollars from our insurance company
The square footage of our condo is very small.
For further information please email me I included in my email address

Horrible Company. More expensive for roof replacement than anyone else and you don't know it till you get the last bill when done. Had a leak, it was fixed but the damage inside not finished yet and this was a long long time ago. I'm holding last huge payment until it is.
Terrible customer service they don't answer the phone and don't return calls. My opinion find another company.

Evergreen is a good company that is committed on taking care of homeowners. Jimmy C is brothers with Kevin C, who was an employee that was terminated. Because of Kevin C, other homeowners were upset at the company.

This company has been one of the worst experiences in my life. They came into my 80 yr old mother's house, took a signed check that was not endorsed to their company ,cashed it and lied to her repeatedly about doing so. Absolute crooks who took advantage of a widowed 80 yr old stroke victim who wanted a third party present to begin with, but wasn't given the opportunity as they over aggressively pushed their way into her purse and stole from her.this company does not deserve to be in business and only got the 1 star to post the review in Hope's that none else falls victim to their foul antics and savage treatment of the elderly.

This company lies and lies and lies - first off no one answers the phone!! Their salesman never showed up finally one day I called and they put some guy Juan Cordova on the phone but he says hes the General Manager - then when you call again they say Roger Robles is the owner but his real name is Rogelio Robles and when I googled his name some indictment from the FTC comes up...lol unreal
Then
When I looked up the company Evergreen Building and Construction on sunbiz.org - says Pam Thomas is the owner. lol
Think I'll stay away plus sales rep never showed up called but I canceled. They said I could get a free roof through my insurance. I'm sure the insurance company will love to know that.

Be careful with this company, very, very stressful relation with them, sending unidentified people to pick Up the Insurance check pay, meanwhile They don't coordinated with the insurance Company correctly....and the end Puted LEIN on my property,I had to wait for the complishing certificate this was the reason of the delated with the Insurance Last Pay,No supervision at all.
