We had some roof repair work done at the end of September by Everest Roofing, a family owned business for over 30 years in Antioch, CA. They were highly recommended to us by our daughter-in-law who had them do work for her several times. Edgar, the owner, did most of the work by himself with the help of his father near the end of the project which required two people. He replaced 45 shingles on the roof of our house and renailed and sealed all exposed nails on the flashings around the plumbing vents and the chimney. The second phase of the job was our side yard overhang. He removed all the old shingles and tar paper, along with a couple of rotted planks, and replaced them with OSB plywood and then a smooth base torch down material finishing off with a new gutter and downspout. Great job and no more leaks!

Everything was done to specification, and Edgar kept us informed by taking pictures of each step and discussing them with us throughout the entire project. He was always on schedule and worked diligently in an orderly manner paying special attention to every detail and cleaned up well after each step. We were impressed not only with his good work ethics and a job well done, but also by his friendly and warm personality!

After moving into our new house which we knew needed a new roof we needed someone we could trust to do the job. Edgar and his crew are amazing! Look no further for your roofing project. If you need a new roof Everest roofing is the best. They are experienced and their family has been installing roofs for over 30 years. I can't say enough about what a great job they did. After the big storm this year we had several leaks and Edgar was able to get us a fair quote and get started on the job within a week. He identified several issues with the existing roof and the previous installation where the leaks were occurring. He even tracked down a problem with our chimney which was another place where water was getting into the house and sealed the chimney for us. (see photos) We went with the ""painted desert"" color and absolutely love how everything turned out. He even trimmed back two huge tree limbs that were dangerously close to our roof at no charge. (see before & after photos) Now we have peace of mind that our home is safe from water damage.

We were presented with several options including roofing vents, solar tubes (for more natural light in our home), and new gutters. We never felt pressured with any of the decisions on the options we were presented with. I love the vents in the roof which have really helped with keeping heat out of the attic. We use the attic for storage and it has made a huge difference up there. It also lets in a ton of light which is another benefit when we are up there. (see photos) We're going to have Edgar come back to install gutter guard on one portion of our gutter system where we get a lot of falling leaves from the trees next to our house. Everest roofing is a family owned local business that you can trust with your next roofing project. The pictures really show the quality of the craftsmanship and care that went into the project. I would use Everest roofing again in a heartbeat and I'm excited to have Edgar come back and put in our gutter guard. Fair. Honest. Happy Customer!
