When my parent's home needed re-roofing, it was an obvious choice to contact Roni and his team from Environmental Roofing Solutions. The ERS team completed our re-roofing on our own home in 2016. Using the same terminology as I did when I posted our first review, Roni and his team are prompt, professional and efficient! Roni's roofing proposal was completed on the same evening he came out to visit my parent's home and what's equally amazing is that his price was much lower than what another roofing company quoted four years ago!!! Roni's crew is equally amazing! They showed up as scheduled and worked so well as a team that the work was completed on time. The workers are couteous and very meticulous. They cleaned up the worksite of all debris! Thank you Roni, Peter and crew for a job well done! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering a re-roofing job. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Being in construction for over 38 years, you would think that I could find a quality roofer who could replace around 25 cracked Monier Tiles and re-grout some loose cement areas for a reasonable price for my home. I was not looking for free but I was also not looking to pay from $70 to $95 per tile that I got proposals from that I estimated would take a couple guys 2-3 hours to do the work.

Knowing that this was a small job and maybe too ""humbug"" to set up this work in the Makakilo area, I was resigned to just ""bite the bullet"" and pay the $$$ premium of having one of the highly rated Yelp roofers do this small job when I decide to try and call Environmental Roofing Solutions. I talked to Roni about my needs and the fact that all of roofers that I talked with wanted to charge between 3-4 times what I estimated the real cost of doing the work with a good profit since I was providing all of the replacement tiles.

Roni understood my situation (frustration) and told me to let ERC take a shot. The very same day, Greg, ERC estimator went over to walk the roof and reconfirmed the work required and submitted a proposal the next day. I was happy with the proposal because I knew that they would do a great job and I wouldn't have to pay a premium price of up to 3x to 4x of the real cost of doing the job with profit because the job was too small or out of the way. I was lucky that they were able to schedule the work a few days later.

ERC provided great follow through in communicating the scheduling for the project, came on time, finished the work in 2-1/2 hours, replaced 10 additional cracked tiles that they didn't see initially at no additional cost, cleaned up and hauled away all of the damaged tiles. More Importantly ERC did a great job to ensure that my roof was ""water tight"". Greg took pictures to show me all of the areas of the roof where the tiles were replaced and re-cemented.

Very happy with Environmental Roofing Solutions, Roni, and Gregg. I had roofing damage from our recent storms. Living in the heights, I would stand out on my balcony and with each strong gust of wind, had shingles flying off my roof. My gutters blew off and as they hit the ground, I nearly had a heart attack from the crashing sound. I filed a claim with my homeowners insurance, and they were the ones that contracted with Environmental Roofing Solutions. Roni (owner) and Gregg came out to my house promptly to assess the damage, and arranged to have a crew to promptly come out to re-roof. They removed my fallen gutters and solar panels, and did an excellent job in re-roofing. Unfortunately, the removal of the gutters exposed hidden problems with my vinyl siding on my facia. Gregg contacted several contractors for me to repair the vinyl siding on the facia. A contractor (Cutting Edge Builders) came out and repaired my vinyl siding on my facia and did a great job. Then Roni arranged for a gutter company (Akamai Raingutters) to install new gutters, and they did a great job also. So this was a job with many moving parts, and I am very happy and satisfied with all players. Great job, men!

Don't be misled by the one person that gave this company a 1-star rating. That person didn't have any work done by the company, and is only complaining that the company didn't come back with a quote in a couple of days. Everyone else that HAD work done by this company gave them 5-stars (myself included). In the 10 years I have lived in Hawaii, there are very few companies (less than 5) that I have been satisfied with their work. I reserve the 5-star rating for only the best of the best, and this company is quite deserving of that ranking. Everyone wants to get the best deal AND the best service. Well, with this company, you get both. But besides feeling like I got a great deal for the work done, they are also very responsive. If you have a problem or concern, they are on it. Don't be surprised if you find out they are booked up for weeks. Companies that do great work AND off great value are going to be busy (duh!), but if you are in a dire situation, don't be surprised to find out this company will jump through hoops (to include working on a weekend) to help you out. I can't say enough good things about them. If you need a new roof, give them a call. Not only will their work exceed you expectations, you will find yourself compelled (as I did) to let others know by giving the highest ranking possible!
