Please look somewhere else to get your repairs done. This company is out to rip people off and they are using cheap products. Found out that they are forcing employees to lie about their service. I recently got a patio from them and needed them to make changes to the supporting post. It's been will over three months and still haven't received a call back, nor an invoice for the patio. The patio is not worth $8550 for 10 ft x 19 ft. I don't know why people would rate them a 5 star. My fault for choosing service from a fake ass company without reading reviews. I understand now why those who rate them a one star.
Dudley D.How can a company justify charging people dbl the price all the other companies .You take advantage of people that don't know. People do your research and get more then one quote.
This company's Sacramento office phone number was reissued to me when I purchased two phones through Consumer Cellular. One phone went to my 93-year-old Aunt AND SO DID THE PHONE NUMBER of (as they advertise) Energy Star, 1339 Howe Ave, Suite 230 Sacramento, CA 95825, Open Mon - Fri 9 am to 9 pm.
Energy Star continues to mislead the public by advertising my Aunt's phone number as their office number. She receives several calls per day and night asking for business quotes. Many of those people call back because they think they misdialed. This is not only a burden for her, but it is also illegal! They are advertising a phone number that is not theirs and is no longer in their service! What are they doing?
After leaving two messages and two emails with Energy Star's HQ in Fresno, they have not contacted me.
My rep Sean said all the right things what sealed the deal was the warranty on the screens actually he said lifetime warranty he threw that in when he saw my fur baby signed the contract windows were installed in one day any issues I had they addressed them no problem so my fur baby ripped the screens they repaired them no problem then I'm informed there's no warranty on screens they previous repairs were a courtesy so manager said he would speak to Sean I've heard nothing I tried to contact Sean and nothing so in order to use my very expensive window and screens I had to pay another company to come out and repair screens with a warranty allegedly very disappointed with Sean the lack of honesty but I guess you'll say anything for commission
Terry M.I purchased 7 windows, 2 sliding glass doors and a garden window from Energy Star Construction. The sales person stated laser measurements would be made to verify windows would fit correctly. When the measure up person came he used his eyes and a tape measure, no laser tool to perform the measure up. All windows were installed day 1 and everything looked good. Day 2 the garden window and glass doors were installed. The garden window that was supposed to be an exact fit per the sales person is about 3 inches narrower than the stuccoed ledge on the side of the house and about 4 inches deeper than the stuccoed edge. The installer used a wood platform to shim the install to make it it (not what I was sold or thought I was buying). When installing the stucco on the house was damaged in 2 areas. 1 of the damaged spots was filled with colored caulk and the other was given no attention. The tile backsplash in the house had a piece that was broken loose and the boarder installed on the outside edge of the window was starting to lift as the installers left. The project manager came shortly after install was complete and the 1st thing said was I'm here for payment without asking what I thought of the windows or of the install. I mentioned my discontent with the planter window to be asked why didn't you say something before it was installed. My answer was the other window was already gone what was I supposed to do? I asked the project manager would you take a picture of this window and post it on your website, his answer was no we would not. Day 3 they come back fix the stucco, the tile and the boarder on the garden window but the installers didn't appear to be happy to be back. When the fixes were made and the installers left I found caulking and an open razor blade in my grass along with a bunch of the installers trash in my flower beds. I requested a manager or owner to discuss my frustration with incorrect information when the sale was made, the garden window that does not correctly fit and the other issues mentioned. The only people that contacted me was the project manager (who is not a project manager but a payment collector with a title) that only asked for money with little to no concern about my frustration and the sales guy who sold the job. The owner and the company management have no interest in their customer or jobs just the money received. I do not recommend this company for anyone due to the lack of customer service or concern for how a project finishes. Last note, when the installers came in they removed all window blinds and reinstalled none. I have no idea where the mount screws for the vertical blinds were placed so I found new screws. I reinstalled all window covering except 1 window. Define toy not the way a job should be completed unless it is the was the job was sold and this job was not sold like this or I would not have purchased from the company. Pictures are attached. I have a complaint in with Anlin about this company..
Sells bogus lifetime products!! Only been in business for 3 yrs. Sells anlins cheapo window (monte Verde) that any licensed contractor can sell for top$$ looks terrible installed. You want the Delmar or Catalina those are the real anlin Windows. When their lifetime paint comes off in sheets they will be back in Pakistan. Dont buy from this company.

Barry W.From day one they professional, curtious, and extremely knowledgeable. The old roof was completely removeded one day, with the new roof up by the end of week. Very competetive in pricing. Do not miss getting a quote from Energy Star construction.
Evey L.The representative arrived with no badge & what looked like black workout tights. Unfortunately she could not give me any information or statistics on WHY the paint & service was worth a rough ""investment "" of 12 k for my 1100 sq ft home, or support their energy saving claims. She was also not willing to gives written estimate. I found her very unknowledgeable & unprepared.
