Bad business company! Horrible customer service! Solar panels were installed and stopped working. We tried contacting them and we were successful after 6 weeks. And took months to get a copy of the contract to us after it had been signed!

The folks that work here do not help at all when I called. I finally made it to their office and they were no help either. I wanted to know if anyone could come out to tell me if my solar panels were working correctly as we still get an Edison bill. Also, we were selling our house and the day before escrow we were told that Energy Renovation Center kept us from selling our home because they couldn't/or wouldn't approve the buyers. Incredible. Horrible service.

My family and I have been dealing with this company for 3 years now and I mean we have had problems with our solar panels from day one. Customer service is the worth never returning your phone calls I'm mean the worst. We have been waiting on a part since October 2023,it is now January 2024. I would not recommend this company to anybody let alone my enemy. Stand clear of this business...

Going with any solar company is expensive, but hopefully what money you put into the company that installs your system, also backs up their work AND their warranty which this company does not always do apparently. They didn't for us. Not only that, but they never left us with any kind of information on paper or via email. They practice poor customer communication and that's IF you can get in contact with them to begin with. After going in circles to finally get someone over to look into and fix the problem of why our panels were no longer working just after the first year, we still ended up with nothing. No phone call to let us know what the problem was or if someone would be back to repair it. Once again, they left us hanging. Last but not least, they were very clear at one point that the tech would be over for the repair without charge, but then requested payment when they got to our home. This company is dishonest. Please don't let them fool you. Trust me, pass this one up and move on. Their 25 year warranty is false when they don't honor it. What a joke. Its obviously a sales tatic.

Looking to have solar installed? Do yourself a favor and keep scrolling! Paid $50,000 to have them install solar last year and the whole system is not producing power for the last 5 months and they won't help us fix it. They don't stand behind their work or products they use.
Also, if you live in California their company is based out of Texas and their customer service treats you like you like you would expect with the typical Texas prejudice against us Californians. Look for a California based company.

Terrible customer service, based in Texas. Run, dont walk from this totally unprofesional company. Our system stopped working shortly after a measly one year warranty. I called the local office and they said they would send someone out with no charge. Someone came out, but the system still didnt work. I wound up talking to someone in Texas who was a total bitch and said I had to pay the $300 service fee. She kept talking over me. For a fifty thousand dollar system and they give a one year warranty, after which you have to pay $300 just for them to come and look. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. If I could give a negative star rating I would.

Do yourself a favor and do your research on the contractor. License number 1009326 This company uses a contractors license that resides in Texas. They just use subcontractors that are inexperienced and do not know what they are doing. My roof was pouring water down after installation of panels! After five attempts to fix the leaks I told energy renovation center I wanted someone else to fix my homes roof. Since then they have not furnished me with permission to operate and left me still paying a large electric bill as if I didn't have solar. They have also filed a lean agains my property that I have to deal with now. Look up the contractors license number on clsb (contractor state license board) website. 1009326
He has been found to produce fraudulent documents. Abandon jobsite. And many other violations. He is a complete crook. It would be difficult to find a contractor this bad

Energy Renovation Center recently did my solar and roof. I couldn't be happier with the recommendations they made on roof color and solar panel style and layout. They showed up, advised me of what to expect over the next couple days, tore off my old roof one day, installed the new roof and most of the solar the next and within a few days after that my solar was commissioned and producing! I have had a zero electric bill the past few months and super excited about it. The crew was professional, tidy and quick. Very happy with the results. Highly recommended.
