They repaired tile roof and did a great job. They also sent me pictures so I could see the repairs. There were some scheduling changes but the owner was very easy to reach and responded promptly when I had questions.

We noticed two water spots on the ceilings of our family room and entryway so decided to call a roofing company to inspect our roof for leaks. We fortunately chose Gilbert and his crew with Empire Roofing. After spending a considerable amount of time on the roof doing a thorough inspection, Gilbert met with us and showed us detailed photos of the issues on our roof causing the leaks and gave us an estimate to repair everything which was extremely reasonable. As they had a few repairs ahead of ours, he kept in touch with me regarding a date for our repairs. Due to a cancellation he was able to squeeze us in a short time later and had all the repairs completed in one day. He also made a trip to Home Depot to pick up paint that closely matched our roof and painted all replacement vents. And to top it all off he and his crew cleaned all of our gutters for us while they were up there. Being senior citizens that was such a blessing. I highly recommend this business!

Empire replaced the roof on my childhood home that had suffered many years of deferred maintenance while my parents aged. As I was coming from a distance, Gilberto adjusted his schedule to meet with me when I was in town. The next day, he provided me with a written quote that was clear and concise outlining the work that would be done. He answered my questions and explained the products that would be used. I especially appreciated that he respected the scope of my needs and did not try to sell me more roof than I wanted.
After researching costs and getting 2 other bids, I selected Empire and they worked me into their schedule right away. They stayed on the job sun-up to sun-down until the work was complete (and did not disappear for hours at a time, dragging out the duration of the project, as I have experienced with other contractors.) I was delighted that they worked like crazy, finished it up, cleaned up and were gone in record time. There were no surprise charges after the fact. I paid the quoted price.
Gilberto is honest and responsive, a pleasure to work with, and his crew is considerate and hard working. I can highly recommend Empire Roofing.

Gilbert and Alfredo re roofed the awning area of my backyard in earlier this year. The side of the awning was rotting from the storms. I wanted to give it some time before writing my review.

The sales process was very smooth. Gilbert was very honest in his evaluation. His quote was also competitive and it didn't feel like he was trying to lowball or highball me, but gave me a fair price. He also provided options. He was also accommodating in adding detail in the contract for my comfort.

Gilbert did the initial sales and Alfredo did the roofing. Alfredo was awesome and open to my questions. He explained the process when I asked.

One complication we had was a bit of rain overnight. It was totally unexpected. Gilbert had the team replace all the affected insulation just to be sure.

One thing I've started to notice is some discharge between the layering of the torch material. It's a little grayish brown. If it gets worse, I might reach out to Empire. Also to note there is a warranty as part of the agreement.

Overall a great experience. I could tell Gilbert lived and breathed roofing which is what made me ultimately go with him. I would happily recommend him for those who need roofing around the Bay Area.

I asked several roofing companies to estimate how much it would cost to replace a rotted board under the shingles and fix the flashing around the chimney. Of all the companies I asked, Empire gave me one of the best estimates. Gilberto also identified things that needed to be fixed, things that neither the roofing inspector nor other companies noticed. He noticed the flashing around the solar tube and a vent also needed to be fixed. I was so impressed with Gilberto's eye for details and friendly manner that I chose him.

In retrospect, I made the right choice. He and Alfredo did a great job fixing each item. I would definitely hire Empire again for more roof repairs.

Gilberto and the team helped fix the leak in the roof of my house. They removed the rotten wood deck sheet, installed new underlayment, then put the tile back. They also cleaned up and hauled the debris away. Their charge is very reasonable.

Would be happy to work with them again.

Sprang a leak as many did January 2023 storm. Gilberto was able to find and do a temp patch on one areas of roof ( grateful).

Three weeks later roof maintenance was performed (who even knows about this term?) the areas need the attention for leak we're repaired. The workers cleaned up the mess from roof and gutters!!!

We had no idea there was a hole in our roof until it rained and leaked through the ceiling. I used yelp to get quotes and got 3 different roofers who were able to meet me that day. I really liked Gilberto from Empire from the moment I met him. He was both friendly and professional. He told me if i decide to go with him he would come back the next day and put on a temporary patch at no charge. This was super important as this was going to be the last clear day before the start of the historic storms that started on 12/31/22. True to his word, Gilberto came back and put the patch on. Sure enough that patched held up through the 2 weeks of historic rains. I can only imagine how busy he must have been after that. He gave me a tentative date of 2/2 to come back and replace the roof on that part of the house but I was pleasantly surprised when he said he could start a few days earlier.

I had an excellent experience working with Gilberto. He is very responsive in all forms of communication (phone, text and email). He will even facetime with you if there is something he needs to show you. And he sends you pictures of different stages of the job. He does what he says he is going to do and he is reasonably priced. I highly recommend him.

We had a roof leak appear during the recent heavy rains and Gilberto came out right away to give us a free estimate and scope of work, even when demand for roofers in that period was extremely high. Empire Roofing had by far the best price after getting multiple estimates, and their explanation of the issue and possible fixes was also the clearest. His team came out on the second available dry day (we did have to reschedule once on their account), and worked non-stop to get the job done in half a day. Communication was prompt and clear throughout, even when rescheduling, and I'm happy with the finished result.
