I hired Girard @Emerald R&R to do hardiboard siding on my home, install a new entry door on my garage, and fix a bad install of a double door. He told me the job would take 3 weeks. It ended up being over FOUR MONTHS, and he ghosted me on the punch list to finish. The exterior of the house was exposed for so long, I ended up getting a rat in the walls/attic and ended up paying $800 to have the house sealed/rat removed.
Gutters were not reinstalled properly, some window screens were lost or damaged, work was sloppy and unfinished in places, interior texture to accommodate 2 pop out windows was not finished, the garage entry door they installed won't stay closed, paint was subpar quality, baseboard/quarter round trim for the double door was not properly cut, done, caulked or painted. He had his crews walking in and out of my home without notice until 7-8 pm at night until I said enough!
Little to no cleanup - in fact he told me ""you know contractors don't clean up after themselves""! Texture on the inside of windows, paint on new LVT flooring, paint on the brick and gutters. I'm STILL finding nails from the nail guns in my yard.
I'll be making a photo album of all the problems I had because there are too many to list.
I've had siding done on other homes I've owned and I'm here to tell you - this was not the way it's supposed to be done! His crews are unreliable and not the skilled craftsman he'd have you think they are.
Until I posted a bad review, I'd not heard from him since Dec 30, 2024. He now claims he was ""rushed, rushed, rushed"". FOUR MONTHS on a THREE WEEK estimate, and now he claims he was rushed?! ?

4/4/25 Update: I had to spend $600 today to get my gutters fixed from what Emerald Roofing and Remodeling did. The gutter company said ""the leveling of the gutters are incorrect, leaf protection was installed upside down, downspouts are not attached correctly. The gutter is no longer properly working. All gutters need to be releveled and new leaf protection installed as the existing leaf protection is mangled and bent and cannot be reused.""

On or about July 11, 2022 we made a quite sizable down payment to Girard Gagliardi of Emerald Roofing & Remodeling, LLC for a covered addition to our back patio. The job was estimated to take roughly 3 weeks per Girard. After nearly 3 months of issues - including his inability to retain subcontractors, multiple failed city inspections and with VERY little work completed, Girard quit.

Girard Gagliardi/Emerald Roofing & Remodeling, LLC has since refused to refund any of our down payment, despite requests via text message and demand letters sent to his home, place of business and email. The letters were sent certified mail, so we know they were received.

I'm short, I would not recommend Emerald Roofing & Remodeling, LLC/Girard Gagliardi for any project, ever.

We had a leak around one of the vents going out our roof. Called Emerald Roofing they fixed it the next day no problem. Very nice, honest and fair in the price for services. Will be using this company for future repairs/replacement/services!! Peyton and Oreo loved him lol

I'm a customer of Emerald. They did an OK job.

I was disappointed in Mr. Girard Gagliardi when I saw that he put an illegal bandit sign in my neighborhood, at a busy intersection.

Putting trashy signs on public property shows little integrity, contrary to what Mr Gagliardi says in his advertisements. It is illegal to put signs in right of ways.

Stay away. Quality is questionable and company is unresponsive. We've filed a complaint with BBB and the investigation is pending.

We had a close to $50k roofing job done by this company and the there has been 3 separate leaks leaks following the job in less than a year! The first two leaks the company was responsive in coming back to fix the repair as it is covered in the 7-year/leak free guarantee labor warranty. After the third leak the Girard (owner) has not returned our calls, text messages, and have been unresponsive.

We just want the roof fixed as covered under the 7 year/leak free warranty and Emerald Roofing & Remodeling is not holding up their end of their contract.

We hired this company to do a roofing job and were planning to use the company again for a remodeling job, however, the owner came back days later stating his estimate did not include ""overhead or profit"". We had never heard of such a thing!! We agreed to pay a quarter of the extra he demanded, but he responded by filing suit against us. We do not recommend anyone using this company considering this tactic!
