Elmer started his journey as a General Contractor more than 40 years ago, specializing in Metal Roofing since 1995. Originally from Alabama, Elmer graduated from the University of Alabama and, after a brief period in the National Guard, transitioned to a real estate agent and General Contractor. In the late 1970s, he settled on the Emerald Coast and has been dedicated to the area ever since.

It became clear that their company's ethos was grounded in honest work with a commitment to providing a solid roofing product.
The Elmer Cook team diligently completed our 1800 sq ft Okaloosa Island home in less than a week (metal roof over shingle), while minimizing disturbance to our yard. They worked from 7 to 7 everyday, and it's pretty clear that their guys actually enjoy the work.
The final product is impeccable. When the county inspector arrived a week after completion, he made the following remarks: ""Well... it's not hard to tell that this is an Elmer Cook Roof, every screw is centered just right."" Furthermore, he mentioned that Elmer Cook did his roof too.... ""What can i say... they do the best work in town.""
