Elmer launched his career as a General Contractor over four decades ago and has focused on Metal Roofing since 1995. Originally from Alabama, Elmer graduated from the University of Alabama and, after a brief period in the National Guard, transitioned to a real estate agent and General Contractor. He established his roots on the Emerald Coast in the late 1970s and has been working in the community continuously since then.

The Elmer Cook team diligently completed our 1800 sq ft Okaloosa Island home in less than a week (metal roof over shingle), while minimizing disturbance to our yard. They worked from 7 to 7 everyday, and it's pretty clear that their guys actually enjoy the work.
The final product is impeccable. When the county inspector arrived a week after completion, he made the following remarks: ""Well... it's not hard to tell that this is an Elmer Cook Roof, every screw is centered just right."" Furthermore, he mentioned that Elmer Cook did his roof too.... ""What can i say... they do the best work in town.""
