After 32 years, it was time to replace our roof. Although we lacked recommendations from friends and neighbors, we turned to the Diamond Certified Directory. Using it, we contacted three different roofing companies for estimates.

All the companies promptly inspected our roof and provided estimates. However, Tamir and ELM Roofing stood out from the rest. In our initial meeting, Tamir demonstrated both competence and genuine concern for a job well done. He patiently explained the entire process.

Once we decided to hire ELM Roofing, Tamir visited the job site daily. While Alan and his crew were already excellent, having Tamir's guidance was reassuring. At the end of each day, the site was left clean and tidy.

ELM Roofing also handled all permit and inspection processes, making it a completely hands-off experience for us. This unexpected level of service was much appreciated.

This was my first experience working with ELM Roofing Contractors. However, I have worked with a few other general contractors and roofing companies on past projects.

Working with ELM Roofing was a fantastic surprise. The customer service they provided throughout the entire project exceeded my expectations. The roof installation was both short and successful. I had the team install a new torch system on my flat roof. Sean and Rafael were my main points of contact, and they were available at all times. Sean was on site every day with the team, providing pictures and a short summary of the daily progress each day's end. During the installation, we had two visits from a city inspector who approved ELM's work. Rafael conducted quality control checks on site every other day. The team maintained cleanliness and punctuality throughout. Overall, I am very pleased with ELM Roofing.

Jonathan and Jasmin were a nice addition to the team. The job took 2 1/2 days to complete, which was a pleasant surprise. We had some concerns and Michael immediately responded and corrected them. Elm Roofing staff follows all the City, State regulations. I must assume all is well since we have not had any rain to test out the job. But I truly feel if anything in the future comes up I can call upon Elm to rectify it.

I always thought that giving a service provider a good review didn't make much sense, as praising someone for doing what they were hired to do seemed odd they're just doing the agreed job. However, every now and then, you meet people who excel in what they do, and that's exactly what happened with Sean and Rafael from ELM Roofing Contractors. With so many roofers in the Bay Area, it was confusing to decide on the right one for the task. One of the companies we contacted was ELM Roofing. After scheduling a consultation with Sean and Rafael, we couldn't ignore the strong connection and feeling of trust they left us with.

ELM Roofing gave us a fair price for the installation, but they were not the cheapest. At the end of the day, we went with our gut feeling and decided that they were worth the extra penny.

Sean and Rafael are very good at their craft. I'm guessing they had a bunch of other projects on their plate, but they were so communicative and professional that it felt as if our project was at the top of their list.

We had a clear agreement on the timeline and work, and as you can probably guess by now, they executed their part to perfection.

ELM Roofing Contractors are professional and reliable. I will recommend Rafael and Sean to others in a heartbeat.

When I hired my first roofer to replace my leaking old roofer, nothing happened after almost six weeks and I had a hard time communicating with them which was very frustrating. My roof needs to have solar panels removed and reinstalled so not all roofers can handle the job. I called Michael from Elm Roofing and he responded within a day, gave me the most compatible quote with the best price, and was able to start the job to remove the solar panels within two days. Just that kind of efficiency impressed me especially after what I had to go through with my original roofer. Although the actual roof job was delayed due to rain, Michael sent a big crew as soon as weather permitting and completed the roof job within one day! The job was done with excellent quality and I cannot be more please with the result. And the solar subcontractor that he sent was also very knowledgeable and professional. Michael was always able to keep the communication going with no issue. Everything was done beyond expectations. I highly recommend Elm Roofing and I've already given several referrals for this roofing company. Great contractors!
