We are so happy we called Elliot & Sons!!! We discovered a huge leak during the last rainstorm and didn't have time to get it fixed before the next storm hit. We didn't think we'd be able to get someone out during a storm, but we called then and were shocked to get a same day appointment. The leak was fixed within an hour, and the guy who came out ( Francisco) was incredibly nice. Thank you Elliot & Sons for saving us a ton of time, money, and stress!!

Did a very good job on my roof I had a lot of dry rot on the edges and under the roof . They are old school taught and very knowledgeable about there craft. IT's not just a roof. Its my roof and I know it was done right. I will have the them do my rental next. Good job.

I just had a roof put on a house in Concord. I got two bids, and selected Elliott & Son because their bid indicated more quality than the other--new flashing versus painting existing flashing for example. The prices on the two bids were about the same and quite reasonable. They gave me a list of customers with the roof shingle colors I was considering so I could go look at an entire roof and not just a sample. They were able to begin my job within a week. They let me know they would be a day late. The job foreman, Ruben (I think), spent a lot of time explaining things to me. Three pieces of the sheet rock had rot and they checked with me first and then replaced them for a reasonable price. They let me know my skylight was cracked and asked if I wanted a new one, which they quickly obtained for a reasonable price. I had some questions and the owner himself (Norm) met me at the house to discuss them. Norm is very personable and is clearly interested in providing good customer service. I asked for a gutter downspout extension which they did at no cost. I was at their office two or three times and the staff is courteous and professional. I wasn't at the house when most of the job was done so I can't speak to that, but I am sure it is noisy and messy. The cleanup was amazingly good and the roof looks great. The whole job only took 3 and 1/2 days. Of course it hasn't rained yet, but I feel confident the roof is good. This company uses CertainTeed shingles and I received a survey from the manufacturer regarding the company (I gave them all 5s) and also a guarantee of the roof. I highly recommend this company.

We had Elliot & Son Roofing of Concord, CA, install a metal shake roof on our house in 2004. In 2012 I noticed one of the skylights was leaking. I rang them up, and Charles was sent out to take a look-see to determine if the leak was caused by a problem with the roof installation. Even though it turned out the leak was caused by the aged skylight, that another company had installed prior to us buying the house, Charles fixed the skylight to stop the leak. Being so happy with that service he provided, I later called Elliot Roofing back to have them install gutter guards.

The roof looks great, but I noticed in early 2014 that it appeared when it rained, the water was not draining off the roof the way it should have, and was causing damage to the wood beams. This time the owner of the company, Norm, came out after I described the problem, inspected the damage, and took photos.

Norm ran the issues by his metal roof expert. Francisco, and later called us to tell us he would find out what was causing the problem, come up with a solution to fix it, and repair any damage. Norm advised he was giving me ""his word"", that he would have the problem addressed and take care of any damage. I could tell just talking to Norm that he is a man of his word, and he wanted to leave us being happy, and satisfied customers. Norm is clearly a proud business owner that stands by his company's work; increasingly rare these days. Norm said that the only stipulation was that our job would have to be fit in with other existing jobs, essentially asking for our patience, which we had no issue with.

Francisco came out on a number of occasions and replaced all the wood that was damaged from the drainage problem, and re-worked shakes so the roof will direct rain water more efficiently. Based on all of our interactions with Elliot Roofing, they are without doubt a first class company that goes the extra mile to leave their customers happy. I recommended Elliot Roofing to my sister, and she also had them replace her roof, and is calling them back in the near future to have further work done to her house.

I highly recommend Elliott & Sons Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof, skylights, gutter guards or roof repair. The employees that I have dealt with have all been professional, honest, and forthright.

Elliot did a complete roofing on my house. The job was excellent. Also, they gave me a discount for having the plywood in good condition and in addition, they did extra work at no charge for an additional portion of roofing. Elliot showed excellent professional behavior by checking the work done and provided me with good communication.

After interviewing 4-5 companies to put on a new tile roof, I chose Elliott and Son. It took me awhile to really read through proposals and contracts and also decide what type of tile I wanted to use. It was an expensive and important job to me so I wanted it done right. I am very happy I went with this company. Norm and Charles were both very patient, explained everything, and they did a great job. The crew was professional and polite and any problems that came up were resolved. I would definitely recommend this company. My roof not only looks beautiful, but I now feel secure and am seeing lower PGE bills!

The company just replaced the roof on our garage. Charles came by to scope it out, had the lowest bid of three firms. He also gave us several ideas on handling several sections of sagging gutter rather than replacing it. They worked very hard, took 2 1/2 days to get it done. Honest and friendly to work with. They were very focused on doing it right.

In the end, we were very happy with the work but be aware that this type of job generates a lot of dust and debris inside the garage. If your garage is in the same state of disorganization that our garage is, you'll probably spend 4 - 8 hours with a shop vac.
