I had a roof put on by elite roofing of crystal river fl.. so sorry I used them stay away they did not do a good job check reviews 1st BBB is not the place to check. yelp is better they may be out of business by now from the ag office having so many people calling in about them STAY away

Pleased with the quote I received from Elite Roofing, Crystal River, Fl. They wanted 25% upfront which I expected. The check for 25% cleared my bank on April 5, 2017. They began work on May 15, 2017. On the second day of work, I was asked to pay for materials, which I did, which would be deducted from the final total due. The final invoice was presented to me during installation on day three. I thought the amount was higher than I expected but since the supervisor was standing in my presence I wrote a check for the amount listed on the invoice. After he left I reviewed the invoice more intently and discovered they had only given me credit for half of the materials I had prepaid. I immediately emailed their business office with the materials invoice attached. They responded with a thank you and a promise send the info to their accountant for review and a request for refund of overpayment. This was on May 18, 2017. I sent another email on June 5, 2017. I spoke with employee/associate James on June 8, 2017 saying he would check into it and call me back. On June 15, 2017 I spoke with employee/associate Brandi. She said she would tell the owner Jason about my concerns. Spoke with Brandi again on June 19, 2017. She said check would be mailed by June 23, 2017. I received an email from Brandi on June 23, 2017 asking for a good number to reach me because Jason would be calling. It's now June 24, 2017. No check, no call from James and no call from Jason. Talk about a run around. It's been over a month since I started this process.
Their good work is marred by their lack of integrity.

We had a small leak in a roof at one of our rentals. We contacted Elite to do a temporary repair. They put a tarp on the roof, called it a temporary repair and charged us $475.00, for something that took less than two hours. When we asked for an itemized charge, they told us that was their standard rate for an emergency tarp.

I paid $6,000 more than what Charles Legg roofing charged my neighbor who had more wood panels replaced. During the roof replacement, I constantly pointed out rotten wood that was being covered with material rather than replaced. The company needs to make quality as important as revenue.
