Lonnie came out months ago to check on our leaking garage roof and mentioned the flashing was the wrong type and improperly installed. He said he would back to us shortly,with an estimate, and never did. Here is the context of the story. We bought the house 3 years ago. The inspector wrote that the flashing was improperly installed. Our family was out of town and asked our agent to please to have a licensed roofer come out to examine the problem. She works for Cheryl Miller real estate. She e-mailed that Elite came out and found no problem. Within six months after the close of escrow the roof started leaking. I called Lonnie out the first time, he was unaware that elite said the roof was ok prior to escrow closing, and asked what the problem was. He said the flashing. I asked If I could see the statement that someone at elite made prior to the close of escrow saying there was no problem with the flashing which the inspector has written in his report. He said this was usually done verbally with the real estate agent and did not know f there was a record, in writing, of what had happened. I know elite has an excellent reputation but not in our case.

I had a great experience with Elite Roofing. I needed a completely new roof. Lonnie gave the most reasonable bid and the best service, too (He actually patched my roof during the estimate!). Once they won the bid they continued to meet and exceed expectations. They started when they promised and kept me informed of any issues during the project. Phil was there to ensure the job was completed as promised. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of a roof repair or replacement.

For a roofing company, the word ""elite"" may sound like a bit of an overstatement. Far from it! From my initial contact with Phil, and throughout the entire laborious process of assessing my needs, the estimate, the timely and punctual (every day!) arrival of his very professional crew, the tear up, the protective insulation roll out, necessary wood replacement, cementing, tile replacing, - over 3,000 sqft, the bird stops (a lot of 'em) and clean up, EXCELLENT!
Notably, it's very difficult to find a reputable roofing company in the Morongo Basin - that is licensed, bonded and insured, AND guarantees their work in writing.
Finally, Phil is not only a professional, his and his crew's personal and friendly demeanor is downright refreshing. They really stepped up to the plate in every aspect of the job by exceeding my stringent requirements, on time, and - at an extremely fair and reasonable price. Kudos, Elite Roofing!

He gave me more info on the repair and overall condition of the roof. Lonnie then told me that I didn't need a new roof and could go another ten years. His professionalism is rare these days.
