Dear homeowner, as you know, living in Florida means roofs tend to have a shorter lifespan over time as a result of the elements. Particularly during the hot months, when temperatures soar and humidity is high. Last year, we have witnessed record-breaking heat waves and severe weather that have passed over our area, leading to notable damage from wind to shingles. Many insurers will cover the cost of a new roof if you can show that the roof were compromised by a storm.

The roofing system is a key component of your house. Certain storms may generate hailstones that come in different sizes and may inflict varying degrees of damage as they impact items below (i.e., cars, panes, exterior walls, and the roofs of houses, even people). Though hail infrequently leads to fatalities, it can shatter glass, create indentations and/or punctures in your siding, and above all, damage your roof. A comprehensive evaluation of the affected zones is necessary.
