This is a father/son business and i found that both Ricardo's had the highest integrity. They squeezed me into their schedule to help me out, charged me a very fair price and managed to complete the 1,680 sq foot reroof in 5 days including plan checks. They carry insurance, their licenses are up to date, and they had no problem emailing me both certificates at my request. They are super easy to work with, easy to reach, very communicative, and nice people. I plan on using them again. And the work looks great.

I highly recommend El Puma Roofing, as they are knowledgeable, skilled, professional, and extremely easy to work with.

This winter has been a particuarly wet season, and this was a good sized project. El Puma executed roof removal and installation expeditiously and deftly between back to back storms.

When I started looking for roofing contractors, I contacted 3 companies to provide me with a quote. One did not respond. El Puma was the first to arrive, and based on responses to questions I had (I had done a fair amount of online research as to what I should be aware of) I immediately knew El Puma was highly experienced, honest, and practical. The second company to visit my project site put on an extremely long sales presentation. I could tell right away the sales reps for this second company have zero experience installing roofs, and could only sell me the roofing shingle manufacturer's corporate line (I also recieved multiple phone calls attempting to gain me as a client after letting this company know I had selected another contractor).

There was no doubt in my mind which roofing contractor I was going to work with. El Puma had demonstrated experience and knowledge during the site visit, the quote was detailed and I was happy to see they use high quality shingles, and the work provided was top-notch.

The recent strong winds in Oxnard blew off my chimney cap and shroud. El Puma Roofing was able to come out the same day and was quick in giving me a very reasonable quote. They were also able to install a tarp over the chimney to protect it from the rain while the chimney cap and shroud were being custom made. I am very happy with their quick response, quality of work, reasonable price and my copper chimney cap and shroud are a beautiful addition to my home.

We discovered a leak in our Spanish style tile roof after a recent rain storm. El Puma was able to come out on a weekend to inspect it, offer me a thorough explanation of what was causing the leak and give me a reasonable estimate for the work. Ricardo and Ricardo (father and son) came out to do the work and finished it in less time than expected, invited me to review the work (after showing me each step they did to correct the problem) and did a great job at cleaning up at the end. They were super friendly, knowledgeable, communicative and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them and they will be my first call for any roofing or gutter needs in the future.

I had a small roof job to complete around the chimney area. The quotes and suggestions I had received from other contractors sounded either inaccurate, unreliable or money-oriented.

We had them come out on two separate occasions for different things and each time they were very professional and quick with their work. Most recently we had them install a new skylight and throughout the whole process of ordering the skylight and installation they made it as smooth as possible. As well, before I chose to use them, I spoke with many other contractors who didn't seem as experienced and were trying to just scam me on pricing. Rather than trying to sell me on stuff that wasn't needed, Ricardo from El Pima Roofing made sure that only what was important should be fixed!
