I needed some roof repairs, i called to get a quote and the owner merlin came by to look at the problem, he quoted me a fair price. After a few other quotes from other roofer we decided to go with el mago since he has a strong presence on social media with great reviews plus they are a family owned local business. They did a really good job, just the fact that they have a strong social media presence with good reviews showed me that they are not afraid of showing who they are and willing to accept bad reviews, they do a great job and are honest. El mago roofing are now my go to roofers.

I called for a quote they came out. A few months later I called to get the job done. The person in the front hung up on me three times without saying hello( she had no reason to hang up). They call 6 months later ( roughly) asking if I wanted the job done I explained that no one was answering my calls and I couldn't do business with them picking up and hanging up for no reason. The lady that did the follow up said I was lying and hung up on me. Stay away unprofessional. It starts with customer service first. Nasty and rude I will report them to the BBB.

My roof was redone by El Mago's Roofing in April 2020 due to damages from a past hurricane. I selected this company over many others that came and gave me an estimate. We have a 10 year warranty contract with El Mago's Roofing .
Choosing El Mago's roofing has been a nightmare because almost every time it rains the roof leaks in areas it never leaked before. Every time the company sent his workers over to fix the problem they've created, they could never speak English nor understand my frustration. Reading all of these reviews, I'm beginning to believe that I'm being discriminated against.
Today my husband called the office due to another leak as it was raining a couple of days ago. He was told by a lady that our contract could not be located.
I am tired of this nonsense. A lot of money was paid for this work to be done, and I will have to go a step further to resolve this madness.

Exceptional!!! Mago was courteous, easy to work with and extremely reasonable. Our roof was a mess with leaks, rotten wood, water puddles. They took all the old wood, replaced it and installed a insulation pitch roof that will prevent water ever puddling. The team worked efficiently, and paid attention to detail. Job was completed in two days. My high regards to El Mago Roofing

I am in the middle of gathering quotes for a leak and contacted El Mago. I have to say that I am very impressed with my interaction thus far. Ana is EXCELLENT. In the middle of all of this rain and a tropical storm she has followed up with me every time. Think about that in these times when a roofing company is so busy they take the time to contact me back on a few relative minor issues. That says a lot about this company and their culture. I am hoping to hire them and when I do will follow up with a review. Thus far 5 STARS!!!

Not sure how this company has such great reviews in other sites. A few months ago we got an estimate for a re-roof from an employee who is no longer with the company. He and Merlyn were very nice and would call to see if we had any questions. We put the project on hold due to COVID-19 but once we were ready and called back, it's been impossible to reach anyone. We haven't even been able to talk to Merlyn again. It seems all questions get filtered through Maria, even technical ones where I would need someone to come look at the roof. They've promised examples of jobs they've done so we can see their work as well as samples of tiles but we haven't heard back. This week alone- we called and sent emails Monday and Tuesday, no response. Their voicemail has been full. I finally got a hold of someone named Anna on Wednesday and she said the phones were crazy due to all the rain this past week, which is not an excuse for poor customer service. She said Maria was out and would get back to me Thursday. Thursday I didn't get a call back - just an email saying they'd get the information for me. Of course, they still haven't sent anything so I called today and THEY STILL DON'T PICK UP. I'm literally chasing you to give you my money and you won't even reply. It's frustrating that you're clearly putting other customer's needs ahead of ours when we also have damage/leaks in our roof from the rain. I would've preferred to be told upfront they didn't have time for us. Going with another company.

When you see that this company is only getting one review then you know its from within the company. Please look elsewhere, dont waste your hard earning money with this company. They will use cheap materials, cheap labor. you would need to fix your roof again the following year. I am tryna save you alot of stressful nights and headache. If i could give this company a zero i would.
