Edwards Roofing is a locally owned roofing business in Florida. Albert Edwards started the company in 1935, it boasts a long-standing legacy. In 1937, Albert's son, Thomas Edwards, joined him, opening their inaugural office in downtown Pensacola, Florida. Albert was elected as the Superintendent of Escambia County Schools in 1941, leaving Thomas to manage the company until his passing in 1944.

For fifteen months, the business was overseen by individuals outside the family until Raymond Edwards returned from World War II. He led the company for the next forty years. At the time, the company consisted of five staff members, a single flatbed truck, and limited tools. Throughout the years, the equipment has advanced remarkably, the systems have undergone substantial upgrades, with a wider variety of materials available than before. Through all these changes, the company has emerged as a top commercial roofing contractor on the Gulf Coast.

In the mid-1970s, Rick Edwards and his brother-in-law Bob Purdy joined the firm, carrying on the Edwards family legacy. Together with over 50 skilled employees, they have led the company into the 21st century. The company has a substantial fleet and the necessary tools to address all your roofing requirements in Florida.

Edwards Roofing Co., Inc. is licensed to operate throughout Florida as both a certified roofing contractor and a certified building contractor, holding license numbers CCC 017547 and CBC 056818.
