Edwards Roofing operates as a family-run roofing company in Florida. Founded in 1935 by Albert Edwards, the company has a rich history. In 1937, Albert was joined by his son, Thomas, to expand the business, launching their first office in downtown Pensacola. Albert was elected as the Superintendent of Escambia County Schools in 1941, leaving Thomas to manage the company until his passing in 1944.

The company was managed by outsiders for fifteen months until Raymond Edwards returned from World War II. Raymond took the helm for the next four decades. When Raymond joined, the company had just five employees, one flatbed truck, and minimal equipment. Throughout the years, the equipment has advanced remarkably, the technology has seen dramatic enhancements, and the selection of materials is broader than ever. Through all these changes, the company has emerged as a top commercial roofing contractor on the Gulf Coast.

In the mid-1970s, Rick Edwards and his brother-in-law Bob Purdy joined the firm, carrying on the Edwards family legacy. Alongside their team of more than 50 skilled workers, they have steered the company into the 21st century. The company has a substantial fleet and the necessary tools to address all your roofing requirements in Florida.

Edwards Roofing Co., Inc. is licensed to operate throughout Florida as both a certified roofing contractor and a certified building contractor, and carries the license numbers CCC 017547 and CBC 056818.
