Ruining south la by building mega apartments on land where once stood 100 year old homes, killing all character, no outdoor space, not enough parking, building the slums of tomorrow - today. The mental health in this area will deteriorate even more with lack of trees, green space, cluttered streets as too many people crammed in like sardines. Not much of a future to look forward to. Sad.

I had a Paved walkway that was built in my backyard last June and in less than 6 moths it started sinking and causing large puddles of water during rains.I have been trying to reach out to the Edwards Builders team and their local associated contractors for almost 4 months now and NO ONE is returning my phone calls or emails! I even sent before and current photos as proof of the bad job that was done - again, with no response! This was poor work and Very unprofessional customer service. This work is still under warranty, so if anyone from Edwards reads this and actually cares, could someone please contact me ASAP so we can arrange to have this repaired please?

I hired these guys to replace my HVAC/furnace unit. They sold me on a 20 SEER 2-stage AC American Standard unit. They installed a 14 SEER single stage Daikin uniit. There were unwilling to make it right. I had to get CSLB involved. The CSLB found several inconsistencies with their license. The CSLB eventually got them worried enough too settle with me. In exchange for me calling off the CSLB and BBB, they were to pick up the Daikin unit, and pay the subcontractor thus removing the lien on my house. I had to be really annoying (calling and emailing almost everyday for weeks) to get them to pick up the unit. It's been 5 months and the subcontractor still hasn't been paid. These guys are con artists.

These people are crooks and thief's . Where is the money you owe us for completed jobs and jobs that are in progress ? Gave me $10,000 for a $40,000 and then bail . You left customers hanging and non finish jobs and took their money and bailed

They do not pay their sub contractors. They won't answer any calls or pay for the work. Causes a lot of problems between contractors, home owners and the ""company"". They pay their workers the bare minimum and demand they make the same amount of money as the laborers. Apparently they are now trying to sell their business so they can get out of ruining people's lives. I wish I could go back in time and never agree to do anything with this company. Just stay away from them, that is, unless you like being ripped off. Also, check the owner, she has owned a few other ""contracting"" companies and they run them into the ground. Be very careful.

Out of town carpet baggers, stay far away from. They promote themselves as professionals and handle everything in house an won't get paid until the job is done. But they hire local contractors, if they completely the job. Going on 3 months for my projects and still not completed after being promised a quick turn around. Won't return my phone calls or emails

Edwards Builders & Developers was a okay in the beginning. The salesperson was professional and follow up on any question during insulation and windows construction. I experienced two issues. They installed blown insulation for the attic instead of roll. It was explained that the blown insulation was better but during insulation it blew through the vents all over in my neighbor's yards . The other issue concerned damage on custom window installation. I emailed the company several times, no response. I called and left a message on the 800 number. No response. I filed a complaint with BBB and they unhappily responded, stating that I never called the company and allowed to inspect and repair. So, I called the number they provided and the project manager said someone would call on Monday for an appointment. No call. No appointment. Since then, no response from the project manager after multiple messages and emails. They only good I can take from this experience is the other 8 windows okay.

This is the absolute worst contracting company that I have ever contracted with . They did faulty work in my house and lied about getting a permit. They use unprofessional contractors and have horrible communication. Then they refused to correct the work and I ended up having to file a complaint with the California State Licensing Board. We are currently in litigation.
