We retained Ed's company to re-roof our ~30-year-old house in Thousand Oaks, the Rancho Conejo community. It was a 2400 square foot project and included everything from ordering materials (terra cotta) to clean-up after each day and the overall project. He worked with us to assure that we understood the details and procedures for obtaining a 25-year roof. The team was on-time, efficient, thorough, and communicative. Some additional work was required around the skylight and this was done equally thoroughly. Working with Edward Klecka Construction was the result of extensive search. His work, timing, quality and value were what we hoped for. We recommend his company, without reservation. Good job, Ed and team.

I had Ed on different occasions to work on my roof, the first time I had a leak on my garage and he fixed it (it was very difficult to find someone to fix only a small portion of the roof), the second time the wind blew away some of the tiles of my roof, and he sent immediately his team to protect it against the rain, and after the rain his crew fixed it; and the last time I had him was to replace my roof. He indeed said that I could wait a little longer to replace it. but I didn't want to deal with strong winds again. Ed is a honest person, and conscious of when there's the need to spend the money. He was very professional, and explained very patiently the alternatives I had, and his fees were very competitive. He really provides a superb service. I have recommended him to friends.

We hired Edward Klecka Construction to do a complete roof replacement. We had decided to go solar and did not wish to put new solar equipment over a 31-year-old roof that was otherwise not leaking. Our job included the taking up all existing barrel tiles and placing two layers of underlayment over the roof surface and then replacing the original tiles. Klecka Construction started on time and worked continuously until the job was done. His crew was very hard-working and respectful. The work quality was beyond excellent. I double-checked on the quality of the underlayment used and it was the best on the market - no shortchanging of materials. If I could give this company six stars, I would. Our job required a few more wood repairs and wood replacement than was anticipated and considered in the original estimate, but I appreciated the fact that the additional work was just done and no additional payment was requested. We paid the agreed price (which was very fair) without any any up-charging. The city inspector passed everything as installed and commented that there never are any issues with the quality of work from this company.

Ed is a very nice, and engaging individual. He often fails to follow through with his appointments and offers excuses.
We've had him here on two occasions and on this last go around, I had another contractor on the roof replacing vents. I told him the roofing repairs were just completed. He sent me videos of the missed repairs, and shoddy workmanship performed. I sent Ed the videos and am expecting a response.
Ed is never at the sight to oversee his workman, and as a result, I'm having another company clean up where his men failed.
