After five years in my condo, I decided to remodel my tiny and impractical kitchen. I consulted 5 different companies. Everyone gave roughly the same estimates. I chose Edri after meeting a few times with Isaac, who was the project manager. Isaac quickly grasped what I needed, had great initial suggestions about layout and options for scope of the project. I really liked his attitude and his attention to detail. He presented a detailed estimate for work and delivery date, which we stuck to. I greatly appreciated that he managed everything so well: permits, different vendors, architect, structural engineer and cabinet designers. It was like a one-stop shop. Every construction worker that came over for different stages of the project were experts in what they were doing. The work was thorough and of great quality. I have seen some projects with shoddy craftsmanship and that was one of my fears, but all the work they did was impeccable. They were also very mindful of protecting my floors and surfaces. Isaac often gave me updates and sent me pictures when I was out of town. I ended up wanting some extra work and he priced it quickly and we were able to fit it in and stay within our planned delivery date.
My new kitchen has completely transformed my living space. I finally have the kitchen of my dreams. I've already been asked by three people who was my contractor. :)

Recently completed a kitchen and bathroom remodel with David and his highly-capable team. The whole process was very enjoyable and we are really happy with the end outcome. They were very professional and accommodating to our every request, took time explaining our options and price considerations, and finished in a timely manner. Their expertise really showed when they pointed out things we didn't notice or didn't think of. We were confident to go with many of their recommendations because we trust their experiences and knowledge in years of remodeling homes. The whole building permit and code approval process was also smooth for us thanks to their dedicated team working with city officials. We would be happy to use David and his team again, and would recommend them to others looking to remodel their homes!

EDRI construction did a fairly complex ground floor seismic retrofit to a three story mixed-use building I manage in Oakland. It involved a lot of foundation and other structural work with some basic interior finish work as well as some work on the exterior wood sheathing and an exterior wood stair. There was some minor electrical and plumbing work involved as well.

I worked primarily with David. He was easy to work with, communicative, responsive, conscientious and is a generally good guy. He got the job done to our satisfaction with minimal disruption. Part of the job involved meeting a critical deadline, which EDRI did. However, some of the work that was not as critical took considerably longer than we anticipated.

As with any job there were some oversights and mistakes. But David always made sure they were corrected in a timely, professional manner. We also had a few issues with some of the finish work and clean up. But again, David took care of that.

One thing I did find lacking--and I'm saying this hoping it will be used as constructive criticism--is ERDIs coordination and oversight of the various trades on the job. A couple of things stand out. In one case the drywall installer buried an electrical service panel in the wall. In another instance, electrical outlets were removed during demolition but no one coordinated their reinstallation with the electrician. The same thing with a door that was removed to build a shear wall. When that work was completed, the door was not put back. We were able to catch these things and other oversights and David always made sure they were corrected. But they could have been avoided with more careful coordination and supervision.

In the future, if ERDI would pay more attention to this, they will be top notch and get a five star rating from me, because in the end they did good work in a fairly timely way. But for now, I'm giving them one less star.

We went with Edri for our kitchen renovation, which included removing a load bearing wall and installing a beam and two posts.

The kitchen looks great, Idan and the team operated with professionalism and good communication. They got the job done at a good pace, and were kind enough to come back about 3 months later and install a toe kick that the manufacturer had not included originally.

David and the entire Edri team were great during the whole process. We set out with a plan and they were able to make it happen for us! They turned our jungle of a backyard into a peaceful oasis, our 1990s powder room into the present, and our living/dining/kitchen space with an absurd number of walls into an open and beautiful concept with a very logical flow. David was our Project Lead and is family to us now. To add stress during a renovation, we decided to live in the house with our 2-year old and another on the way. David made this possible and his team was clean and respectful of the house each and every day. We then had our child earlier than anyone could plan for, in the middle of construction, and David continued to step up and make our lives stress-free while everything was going on. All in all, they are great. The craftsmanship was top notch and they were more than happy to adjust to our crazy and frequent changes along the way. They treat you like family and the work speaks for itself. We can't wait to work with Edri again on our next project!

A friend of ours who is an architect recommended Edri to us and we are so glad she did. Edri completed our kitchen/living/dining room, powder room, and back yard renovation and did a fabulous job! David was our project manager and he is the best. Our project was structurally complex and involved knocking down multiple walls, but Edri knew exactly how to approach this and it was clear they were experts at executing structural work in San Francisco homes. We actually lived in our home during the renovation and they were so considerate and accommodating of that, always cleaning up and keeping things livable for us. I will admit to being so picky with a million questions and the Edri team always answered all of my questions/made sure we were completely satisfied with everything. They're fabulous and we would recommend them to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat. We actually hope to do a bit more work on our house and are already looking forward to working with them again.

We were introduced to Edri Construction, specifically Eitay, through a mutual friend and couldn't be happier that we chose to work with them. We did a full kitchen remodel and ended up replacing flooring in the entire house. They held our hands through the entire process from layout and design, (which we changed a couple times before making a final decision), choosing appliances, materials, etc. and kept us within our budget. They were very professional, open with communication, responsive and respectful of our home and space. We lived in our home during construction with two dogs and a cat, by the time our project was complete, I think our dogs looked forward to seeing Eitay and Edgar more than us. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our new kitchen and floor.

Do not use this company! Individual arrived and started with all the areas In my condo that would not pass SF Citi my inspection. Advised him that my building was less than twenty plus years and he continued to point out areas. I felt like he was trying to gauge and inflate the quotation and this was after four other contractors advised against his advise!! Be very careful with this company.

Thanks for your clarification. However, myself and my HOA definitely are not Interested in cutting any corners and following not only city Inspections guidelines. My concern was this Individual took the liberty to start calling out other ideas / plans that seemed very inappropriate and did not apply to a walk-in shower only Install. My Impression was to expand the plans of my project which is not something I am Interested in doing. Thanks for the comments.

We hired Edri to renovate a condo for sale. Their work was to the highest standard. The craftsmanship was excellent. The job was finished much sooner than I was expecting. Our Project Manager, Isaac, kept us up to date on the progress and was very responsive to both our minor changes and the final punch list. I would highly recommend Edri and Isaac to anyone needing construction work.

We hired Edri to do a complete remodel of our Primary Bathroom with one catch: I was 6.5 months pregnant with twins and we needed it done before I gave birth. Edri said they could handle it and we're true to their word. Someone was there, moving things forward, nearly every day. We even made some last minute additions to the plans (heated floor and towel rack) and they were able to accommodate us and still finish before the deadline.

I didn't love their design person's communication style, but found out that person is no longer with the company, so I sense it wasn't a fit with their very transparent approach.

Overall, I'd recommend!
