I contacted Edgar Romero for an estimate to replace the roof on my garage. He arrived on time and gave me a quote. He seemed nice, the quote was reasonable and he came highly recommended from an acquaintance. So, I hired him. A few days later, I sent him a text message asking whether the labor and materials were covered by a warranty and if so for how long. No response.

The next day, I called and reached Edgar. I again asked about the warranty, whether he was licensed and asked to go over the basic details of the job so that we would be on the same page.

Apparently, he did not take kindly to me, a woman, questioning him about a job I was going to pay him to do. He started shouting at me, ""find someone else to do your job! I have other, bigger projects! Yours is nothing!"" Taken aback, I asked him what the problem was. He did not respond and instead hung up.

If I could give him a negative star I would. Stay as far away as you can from this sexist, rude company.
