Approximately 18 months ago, Eddie replaced the roof on our vacation home in Sugarloaf. Eddie was very responsive, professional and kept us informed on the status of the project via email pictures. The reroofing bid was reasonable, and the project was completed on time. The roof looks beautiful. We are very pleased with Eddie's work and highly recommend Eddie and his crew.

Eddie came out to check my roof for damage from a fallen tree. He said he would get back to me with an estimate. It's been almost 3 weeks. I've called 3 times and finally asked him if he just doesn't want the job to please let me know so I can move on. I have gotten no response. I find this both inconsiderate and unprofessional. Very disappointed.

I called Eddie and spoke with him several times. He gave me a VERBAL estimate, but after 3 times calling him asking for a WRITTEN estimate, and never receiving it, we moved on. We always try to get 3 bids for large jobs we need done, but I wasn't able to get Eddie to follow thru on a written bid, so hiring him was definitely out of the question!

Was not expecting to have to replace my cabin roof 7 months after buying it, but leaking skylights forced my hand. I got a few quotes and Eddie's was the best, and he was highly regarded by my realtor. The roof was a hodgepodge of construction and the skylights were badly installed to say the least, leaking onto my tongue-in-groove bathroom ceilings. Eddie and his crew were awesome, fixed all the crappy construction, pulled some skylights out and correctly replaced the few I kept. They cleaned up during and afterward and even helped me with some almost/frozen pipes and the water shutoff that is oddly located 4' down in a 6' deep manhole. Most importantly, no more leaks and the roof looks awesome! Lots of rain, snow and ice in Big Bear this year finally, so it's a huge relief to know that I won't have any issues with the roof for a long time. HIGHLY recommend Eddie Hobbs Roofing! :)
