Nope. Won't be going with this company.
Initially was I excited to have one of their pros come to my house to survey the projects that needed to be completed. I requested an appointment on their website, and kept getting confirmation emails and text messages stating they'd be at my home at 9am on Monday morning. Well, 9:20am on Monday rolls around and I give them a call to get an ETA on the pro assigned to my house. Yeah well, apparently they had no recollection of my appointment and I wasn't even in their system. I was a bit annoyed and the woman on the phone could tell and told me she'd call me back in 10 minutes to let me know if someone was available to make it out despite my appointment not being scheduled (even though it WAS and I kept getting notifications for it). She did call within 10 minutes and told me that someone could come between 10 and 10:15am and at 10:15am our pro arrived.

He seemed nice but here is what I did not like- with every other contractor we interviewed and showed the space, they measured and took lots of notes. This dude simply looked at our space, and then asked questions to things we ALREADY mentioned when explaining the situation. He didn't measure anything, he didn't take notes, nothing. We showed him our two other projects and really wasn't all that helpful ... AND by the end of our meeting, I KNOW WHY... Because all he was trying to do was sell their 3-D Design package that costs $450. Basically another appointment would be scheduled (but would it really??) where we would discuss what we wanted and then a design of the spaces would be put together on the computer. Um, while that's a cool concept, WE ALREADY KNEW WHAT WE WANTED and $450 is highway robbery for something we could easily do on THE SIMS. My husband said NO. All we want is a bid for the project and we ended the meeting without paying a dime. I know for a fact it's going to be VERY HARD for this guy to give us an estimate without MEASURING ANYTHING... So I'm ""excited"" to see what he comes up with! Ha!

I'd be cautious about using this company if I were you!

Great company! We had a bad problem with trying to replace an appliance in our kitchen where we were going have to do some demolition just to get the work done, lots of mess, lots of money. When Ben came out to look at the work, he was able to see how the work could be done with almost none of the mess and problems we were expecting. The worker came in and did the work in a very timely fashion. Ben and Foster came over a couple days later to make sure we were happy with the work and that it was done correctly. We are so appreciative of EcoStar's professionalism and friendly service. We'd recommend them to anyone in need of remodeling and construction work, and we have their number handy for when we are ready for our next project.

We had EcoStar re-wire almost all of the lighting in our home that was done previously by a bad do-it-yourself-er. We also had ceiling fans and a new light fixture installed. We worked with Foster; he did what he said he would do and arrived when he said he would. He worked with us to arrive at a budget we could live with, and was fun and helpful with suggestions. They do good work and we'll be calling them for our future bathroom renovations.

It started out rocky, but Mr. Foster is true to his words when saying they are going to do a really good job. Backyard fence, rain gutters, as well as a much needed window all done in a fair and timely fashion. As I told him before, we will definitely do business again when our next project arises! Easily recommended.

I contacted Ecostar Remodeling & Construction to give me an estimate for a job that needed to be completed in two weeks. Mor came, took a look at the job needed (hallway, living room/dining room, kitchen) and gave me a quote on the spot. We talked through his process for doing interior painting and I was impressed with his attention to detail. His rate was very reasonable, detailed and included all materials.

Mor used Premium paint which he strained to avoid sediment showing up on the walls. His team spent the first couple of hours on the first day covering all my cabinets, flooring, and furniture.

They cleaned up on the first night and reset my living room and TV so I would be comfortable that night. They cleaned up all dust, debris and paint. They reinstalled all my doors, hardware and reset the furniture.

They sanded all baseboard and door casings, they then painted walls, baseboard, crown molding, door casings and doors all in 4 days!
The doors were removed from the hinges and spray painted; they came out looking fantastic and no brush marks! The trim work in particular was very well done. Edges where the wall met the crown, baseboard, and door casing were perfectly straight.

In a matter of days, Mor and his team came in and completely redid my house. The job was beautifully done; the attention to detail was excellent.

Ecostar Remodeling & Construction as far as my experience goes was excellent; they do quality workmanship, and provide super fast service. I'll be bringing Mor back to do my exterior and deck in the near future.

I recently moved to LA and wanted to remodel my place before I actually moved in my furniture. I found Ecostar Remodeling & Construction on yelp and after meeting them, I can say testify they are very reliable. Michael, one of their project managers came to meet me at my place for a complete walk through on what I wanted: re-do kitchen, bathrooms and install new hardwood. I was so impressed by how much knowledge he had that it was a no brainer to trust him on completing all of the work I wanted done. The process of this entire project was way more organized than I expected! They had an allocated crew at my project just as promised, always on time, and efficient, with no time waste. Michael was such a pleasure to work with! He took me shopping for all materials and I could not be happier with the interior design we came up with! I am very happy with everyone from Ecostar!

Look no further! You just found your contractor! renovate the whole house and its really amazing looking. they did kitchen, 2 bathrooms, powder room, living room, dining room, floor, electrical, etc. Ben and his crew gave me all the information I needed - suggested designs, budget, possible challenges along the way and realistic timeline. He was very hands on and ensured to communicate what needs to be done.They managed to pass all inspections.
Project was completed right on time.Really satisfied and happy with the result. Got so much compliments from my friends who came over for the housewarming.

Definitely contacting them again for future renovations I have in mind and also recommending them to the people I know.
Overall i'm happy. Great working with Ecostar Remodeling & Construction. Highly recommended!

I wanted to thank Ecostar Remodeling and Construction for renovating my kitchen to an absolutely great experience. I was super nervous in the beginning of the process - looking to remodel my kitchen. I never had any experience with this task. Roy made every aspect of the project clear, concise, transparent and on budget. An extreme amount of infrastructure work was required and although sub-contractors were used, Ari personally managed each detail of their work.
To sum it up, Ecostar had the best quote, the best timing in completing my kitchen and very professional. I'm satisfied with the results. 5 stars and they definitely earned it!

One of the best construction companies out there! And I've experienced a few subpar ones in my life. Their crew took off the old patio cover we had and put in a new one. They worked quickly and cleaned up everything after. Very polite and informative, paid attention to every detail and aspect of the project. We are so happy we chose them and highly recommend to others! Great job Ecostar!
